Remarks

The infrastructure could have a bit of renovation otherwise it is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It is relevant. Resources are provided so practice is good and patients are available to get hands-on practice. The library is good. The syllabus is always completed in class rather than leaving on the students to do themselves. The curriculum is designed as per DCI regulations.

Placement Experience

2

I am in the 1st year so I don’t know anything about placements but I have seen my seniors completing their UGs and PGs here only.

College Events

3.5

Academic fest called Gyandeep, cultural fest called Samanvay, many workshops, army-related seminars, Gujarati movie promotional events, management of clinical workshops, evidence-based dentistry, academic competitions, cultural competitions are also held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees: 3.7L per annum Hostel Fees: with ac, 68000 per annum Mess fees: 480000 per annum Other college expenses for the dental instrument: 48000 total for all years Miscellaneous: 5000-6000 per annum because of the events listed above. These are compulsory expenses.

Fees and Financial Aid

No no no no no no no absolutely not I did not avail any scholarship but I wish I did but I did not.

Campus Life

3

Yes, sports are good the teams also win interstate competitions, the dance room is there with mirrors. The gym is below average. The gender ratio is good and people are from all over India which is excellent to see. People actively participate in debates and stuff.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel feel is 68000 with AC double sharing and you can refer to the website for further info. The hostel is average and sufficient space. Mechanics are available for repair but they may come after 2-3 days of regular calling. Rooms are cleaned almost regularly but it may not be so if the staff is on a hike which is also very frequent. PGs are given more priority than UG.

Alumni/Alumna

I am not aware of it but there is a Jain social group as this is a Jain minority college and there are anti-ragging group and women’s cell.

Admission

Cleared 2017-18 neet and got admission in the college through neet counseling conducted by MCC and took admission by deemed quota and filled km shah as my choice because of safe surroundings. Then when I got admission I came to Vadodara from Delhi and then spent a day to complete formalities.

Faculty

4

Above Average. They are supportive when guidance is needed and teach about practical stuff like the clinic. Multiple faculties are present per subject so you can always have options. They are punctual. PPTs prepared by them and informative and crisp. So good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college is giving 2 hours per day in posting for 3rd year students which is the best for us to learn this early how to do pateint. They held free check up sessions for poor people who are able to afford fees of treatment nd for school students also. Exams timings is of 3 hours and we have long ans.questions which is very difficult to finish them up.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So curriculum I think is okay actually. Subjects that are actually related to dentistry have been focused more. Exam frequency is perfect according to my college we have enough break time and study time both. Teaching method should slightly changed as in more advancements are definately needed. For example nowadays for normal restoration people use composite in private clinics but composites practically are taught in internship in colleges. Actually it should be taught in final year itself. However in exams we have amalgam only so it's not college's fault

The faculty over here is at par excellence though bds is the toughest course out faculty makes it easy for us here 3:1 girls boys ratio is seen usually in the dental colleges all the faculty members are doctors either MBBS or bds/MDS. Every 2 months there are internal exams and before the university exams, there are prelims taken for us.
