Honest review of Apollo college of physiotherapy

Physiotherapy as a career have high scopes and the scope is increasing with time. I always wanted to opt for this course because i wanted to be a doctor. You don't have to excell in the enterance test. You can also get admission in this course with less marks in NEET. Although the respect here in chhattisgarh is lesser for a physiotherapist than a physician due to loss of awareness here.

The tuition fees is lesser as compared to the colleges from other cities of other states. I am a 2020 batch student and my fees is 56500 rupees per year, which is moderate as compared to the other colleges. Altho ugh they ask for money for every little thing that they arrange in the college such as the events or functions of the college and also charge a lot money for clinical postings. Scholarships are available for ST SC and OBC students. The college does not provide any campus placement opportunities.

The infrastructure of the college is nice as compared to other colleges in this city. Hostel life is just average and the mess food is just below average. College functions are nice but there are no social groups or cultural clubs in this college. There is no student council or president of the college. There is one annual day celebration named as BLITZ in January, there is also a physiotherapy day celebration on 8th of September every year. They are approximately 2 to 3 days events. There is also sports day celebration every year that includes approximately 3 to 4 days. Library is also good. There are expensive books available in library. I believe that there should be some social groups and clubs or student portals in the college as it has good impact on student life and elevate the experience of the college. They are too strict for attendance.

The admission is through NEET UG. After the neet results, go to the college and book a seat for which they charge 10000 rupees which will be deducted from your annual fees. There is no cut off marks for neet, you just have to appear in NEET. After booking seat they will fill the form for counselling process. After the counselling results, they will fill up the admission form for you. There is reservation for ST, SC and OBC students.

Faculties are well qualified whether it is internal faculties or external faculties. All the teachers are Master's in physiotherapy. The faculty of the college includes people from different specialities that makes it easier for us to learn.
