My experience at PVG College of Science and Technology

The reason for choosing the Computer Science bracnh is that I was always keen to dwell into the the technological world especially in the world of computer and how it works. The college works well on students to help them apply their studies in the real-world aspects. I could suggest that the college could use practical methods more instead of theory for better understanding of the subject. Exams are frequent including class tests, unit tests, and semester exams with a moderate to tough difficulty.

Students are assigned projects individually or in groups where they prepare their projects for the whole year and present them to the companies. Mostly, internships are offered by the local companies till now

Are not much placement opportunities form the college, but they do help the students with the internship process to help them get a better carrier options in the future. I'm planning to opt for carrier in Cybersecurity after the completion of my degree.

If we consider the fee structure for all the 3 years, then we could sum it up near 1 lakh. There are no regular himes in the tuition fee and other fee. No much options in scholarship or other financial schs either.

Multiple fests are organised such as Cultural Fest, Technological Fest, Annual day and many more. Also there are students groups for cultural activities as well as, sports are organised once every year which includes indoor and outdoor sports where all the students and faculties participate together. Also there are DLLE and NSS department for social awareness and social work. The Library is good with a huge sitting arrangement and availability of books.

You must have cleared the HSC Examination in order to get your admission done here. The application process and be completed at the admin deck with help of the admin faculties. I cannot tell much about the reservation process, as I belong to the open category. The minimum cuttoff percentage is around 60% for the HSC pass outs.

The faculty-to-student ratio is not fixed as sometimes there's a shortage of faculties, still the average ratio is 1:80. Most of the teaching staff are well qualified and helps the students learn in their own and a better way. Students can have a interaction session wyenever they are in doubt
