- There are various things about the college which is appreciable. The college environment is very much suitable for the students.
- Teachers are very cooperative, helpful, kind. You can ask them for help anytime.
- College has every facility which is required for studies. There is no any strict rule-regulation. You will also get extra time for side studies.
Dislikes
- Library is available in the college but there is a need of bigger library.
- There is PG course available in the college but only for few subjects. There is demand of PG courses in Magadh Mahila College.
- College ground needs renovation. It is big but not properly maintained
Course Curriculum Overview
I opt for botany because the faculty of botany is quite good in MMC. The best thing about the subject botany is the Lab Practicles. You will get chance to know about our beloved nature and diffderfent kinds different kinds of plants. You will have to go for field work. You will have to perform lab which is very exciting. Exams held very frequently and the question difficulty is good. You can score 8-9 cgpa
Internships Opportunities
You will have to keep eyes on google and keep applying for internship. People do visit in the college to provide internship but not so frequently. College provide computer courses for1-2 months for bsc students.
Placement Experience
Students can apply for placement by 5th-6th semester. College placement is not available at large scale. Students who belongs to BBA/BCOM can get chance for placement. You will have to give exam for this. College is good for the students who are aiming for competitive exams and higher studies
Fees and Financial Aid
Magadh Mahila College is a government college.It has very minimal fee compared to other colleges. Annual fee for BA and BSC especially for girls is just INR 170/yr. You will have to only pay for examination fee and admission fee every year which is also very minimal.You will have to just pay around 1500/yr including everything. Students who belongs to reserved catogery i.e., OBC, SC/ST get financial aid provided by the government.
Campus Life
Overall experience is good. You will experience various things in the college which will be useful in your further life. Library is good, you will get wide range of books of your course. You can get book from the library using lbrary card. Classes are big with seating carpacity of 100 students. Each cours has its own honours as well as subsidiary classes. The college also provide extra carricular actgivities like sports, dance, singing etc There are many courses available in the college including music,urdu,sanskrit,maithli etc About 8-10 fests held every year in the college.
Hostel Facilities
Eariler I ws afraid of campus hostel but I was in the last year I applied for the accomodation and trust me my hostel journey was amazing.Almost all the facilities re avaailable. 3 hostels are there in the campus.MMC has the best hostel in the whole Patna. You can also search for it on google. You will have to apply for the hostel. You will get accomodation on the basis of merit list. You will have to pay 12k as chalan at ones for 1 year. After that you will have to pay 3800/month as mess charge which is very cheap wcompared to other hosteld in Patna.Veg as well as non veg is included in the meal. You will get meal for 3 times a day. They will provide a bed with mattress, a pillow, study table, chair and a big almirah. Rooms are very specious,airy, neat and clean. You must go for it, you will enjoy the campus hostel life. If you want private hostels you can get in Ashokraj Path, Buddha Colony etc.
Admission
One can apply for BSC Botany if you have scored 50+ prcnt in your 12th in PCB/PCMB. You can easily get notice regarding admission on the website of Patna University. You can easily come to know about the admission notice.
Faculty
The bond between the teachers and students is just awesome. They will guide you like their own child.They will support you and encourage you at every step. You can interact them any time if you have any problem. They are brillient in their fields. If you are not able to understand any topic you can ask them for even 10 times. .
