Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum and the teaching methods on papar is excellent. But its the execution where rie fails. There is uneven dstribution of credits for certain papers i feel. Not all education papers cater for one being a good teacher. But all over the curriculum does its justice.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There as school attachment programmes. Sap 1 2 3 and 4 from 3rd to 6th semester. Here you observe the working admistration and infrastructure of the school. You get to know about the community involvement etc In your 7th sem there is a 3month long internship where you go to schools and teach under your guidance supervisor.

Placement Experience

4.5

Campus placement cell is available. Schools for to your campus and you need to register to find interview on that School. They send an official letter of selected students to your college. The basic package which is approved by the rie norms is also fairly decent. Even an alunini can avail placement privilege after graduating

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Fee structure depends on the course but its around 11k to 13k depending on reservations and state you belong from. There are ncet scholarship available and it will be around 2 to 4k per semester. The placement cell is the highlight of this institute. Schools from all over the nation seek employers from here.

Campus Life

0.5

This is exactly where rie fails as a college. You are treated more as a 12 year old kid than an adult. There are very stringent roles about opposite sex relationships, about hostel hours and much more. It feels to have toxic work culture.

Admission

CEE (common enterence exam) is the exam conducted from rie which is gd enternce eligiblity exam to get admissions in rie. It is fairly easy exam with general teacher aptitude part and the subject knowledge of your 12th subjects. There are cast reservations

Faculty

1

The faculty to student ratio is extremely inappropriate. We have few staff. They are extremely qualified but ironically they all arent good teachers. The attendance is taken more seriously here than the actual interest of the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course - BSC in Anaesthesia technology and operation theatre technology which I'm pursuing has a good career option, best way to help people if you can't clear NEET, you'll get specialization in both anaesthesia and operation theatre which is good for you future placements. The curriculum is very knowledgeable as it is too hard and lenghty for average students. The exams are undoubtedly hard but is 100% from your syllabus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course's syllabus is very well structured. Each semester you learn a new topic and have practicals every week based on what you learnt in theory. Biotechnology is a very vast field so by the end of the course you have learnt a bit about the main areas of the subject which helps you choose the field for your higher studies. Exams are conducted twice per semester, mid sem and end sem. In between, there are internals or activities basically which will taken into account for your finals marks.

Placement Experience:

The students of the final semester are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Omega Healthcare, Biocon, Cognizant, TCS, Accenture, Magic Bus, Intelizign, Patanjali Health Institute, etc. The highest package my seniors were offered was around 15L/year and the average was 8L/year. Almost 60-80% of students got the campus placements. I want to get my master's degree completed and then try for Ph.D. and get into the research field.

Placement Experience:

There is a mandatory internship for students during the summer break after their 1st year of MSc. BASE Placement Cell (BPC) is responsible to look after the placement and internship opportunities for the students. However, the students need to opt-in for their service or they can handle it on their own. The first batch will graduate in the year 2022 and hence there is no placement record for the same.
