Practicals are conducted on daily basis which adds to clarity of the topic
Teachers are always there to help the students regarding their doubts and they also provide guidance regarding other aspects except studies too.
Laboratories are well maintained and are proper hygiene is maintained

Dislikes

Kits and apparatus are not available in enough numbers acc to the student strength

Biotechnology is an emerging field and the reason i chose biotechnology is because of the fact that it allows us to learn certain amount about medical sciences too. Our syllabus has coverage of various methods and techniques used in biotechnology and research. Practicals make us understand the subject better and prepares us for the future studies.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are very helpful for the students who suffer financially. It helps them for completinf their education inspite of the financial crisis on their side. Fees of our course is very reasonable.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is good with well mainted facilities .Wide range of books is available in our library. Festival programs are held which keeps the students connected with their culture. Extracurricular activities are held too including various sports . NSS and NCC groups are also involved within the college.

Admission

Eligibility and other criteria was very simple. Reservation benefits were included too. Admission process was great and needs no improvement. Timing of exams is appropriate and difficulty level is moderate to high and varies every semester.

Teachers are always ready to help. They conduct proper tests to examine the students and their understanding regarding the subjects. Assignments and projects add to deeper understanding and learning of the subjects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals

The curriculum is very good it's in dept and covers every aspect of my field plus they keep adding new treading topics in my syllabus like recently we have a whole subject dedicated to gut microbes nutrition so it's in detail and very nice Exam timing is good unit happens every month and one final exam we get 1 hr for 20 mark unit test and 3hours for 60 mark final test the difficulty level is moderate

The college life sucks but its okay you have fun too

The application process for little hard . In application process you need to bring all the documents in order to apply. And the cut off went high of mhtcet exam . There were no aspects that i didn't liked because all were necessary process The eligibility of the course is 10+2 and plus entrance exam The application form for this course you can find on cet cell website. The fees for application form is upto 500 as per category . Application dates are released from few weeks form results. The frequency of this exam is once a year and timing of exam is held in 2 batches morning and afternoon. Their difficult level matches the importance of this exam...Read More
