Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate the course curriculum 8/10. It is a mix of practical and theoritical learning. The electives offered in the second year give a good exposure to diffrent subjects and you can make choice based on your likings and interests. However, there are no gaps between exams so you need study well in advance. In the first year you are given an exposure to all subjects- Finance, Marketing, HR, Analytics, Stratergy etc so that you can make the right choice for your specialisation after studying everything.

Placement Experience

Placement opporunities are provided on campus for both internships and final placements. Highest package last year - 26 L Average package lasy year - 12 L Campus provides 100% placements. Refer to the placement brochure for more details.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is 10L per year. The hostel fees is around 2L. The campus ensures 100% placements. The average package is around 12L and aerage stipend is 40,000 for the entire tensure. It is on the more expensive side, but the hostel rooms are very well maintained and infrastructure is top notch.

Campus Life

All festivals are celebrated in campus. The clubs and committes make the mba more memorable. They include -sports, dance, music, academics, placements etc. The facilities provided for the same are very new and well maintained.

Hostel Facilities

It is compulsory to take the hostel. The hostel room is 4 sharing. The room is very spacious and well manintained, looks like a hotel room. The food is better than most messes out there. Girls and boys have seperate hostels .

Hostel Fee: INR 235000 per year

Admission

The cut off was 206 in the NMAT exam. After clearing the cut off, you will be called for the Watson glacier test and the PI in the mumbai campus. The admission process went on for the entire day, and parents were not allowed inside the campus. The PI consists of questions around the SOP you submitted, current affirs, business news, undergraduate and work experince if any.

Interview Experience

Thw Watson glacier test is like a psychometric test which you will give inside the mumbai campus. The interview is focused on the SOP, undergradute, work experience if any, business news, current affairs etc. Be confident!

Placement Experience:

There is no such semester limit for students to became eligible for campus placements. Parle, airtel, muthoot finance, learning routes and etc companies visited our campus and also nearly 50-60 members were get selected from management department. 7.8Lpa is the the highest package from parle company and average package is 4.5 lpa from remaining companies. Minimum 60 percentage is required to attend campus placements.

From the Start of 4th trimester, students will become eligible for campus placements. Great Institute for MBA

Remarks:

At first, I was very focused on joining an IIM for my MBA but as the the cut offs were pretty high and I couldn't crack them and I didn't want to lose another year, so I started looking for a college that will accept me at the last minute. I found this college and it's admission process was still going on, hence I decided to join it after considering a the good facilities along with an impressive placement records of past years. The application form was submitted through the online process and I also had to pay an application fee for the process which I don't remember now.

Good Student life

Admission:

The management course was very much interesting to pursue. I applied here for the MBA after giving this TSICET entrance. As per the TSICET scores which were 80 percent and my graduation percentage, I was able to get into this college to pursue the same course.

The admission process during my admission was quite simple, where you need to give nmat. The registration process for nmat starts in august/ September where you can book slots for giving exam as per your choice till January. Only first attempt was counted for all nmims campuses. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate without negative marking. After clearing the cutoff of 210 score, wat- pi was done online itself but currently the process is done at mumbai campus for all off campuses. In the admission process, NMAT exam is the first step. The forms are available on nmat.org website and the few for the same is around 2500-3000 Rs. During our time 3 attempts were possible.
