Remarks

Overall experience is moderate. We can expect a good placement opportunities based on our capabilities. Every person related with NDIM is very concerned about their individual contribution to the college. This makes the institute a good place to learn. Thus I can recommend our college to those who have cost barriers and want to study in one of the effective B School then you can land up here.

Entrance Preview

Firstly I was preparing for several competitive exams like ibps, sbi,rbi etc. But as the time starts running, I run for the MAT because difficulty level of these exams is same as those of banking. So I took MAT of feb 2016 and got composite of 600 marks with 70 percentile. As soon as result came I searched colleges based on placement and cost factor. In the mean time based on my MAT score the college also provided their newsletter describing all the admission procedure. But fortunately one of my cousins was also studying there and I took his help in my admission procedure. The entire interview process completed in single day and deposited the registration on that day itself. As I was from commerce background I was focusing on MBA and thus I landed up here. I joined july 2016-18 batch. After a year my cousin too got placement in one of the good company.

Internships Opportunities

Yes for every batch the CRC department come up with no. of internship opportunities for the students in every fields. But internship options for marketing students is higher as compared to other. When we talk about stipend, it depends upon the company to company. Some of them offer stipend some of them don't. I got the internship from NAM SECURITIES LTD, NEW DELHI. They didn't provide stipend. One of my batchmate got Rs 10k as stipend for 2 months. But when I did live project with FUTURE GROUP in Big Bazaar, they did provide me a stipend of Rs 150 per day.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement process starts after completing the Summer Internship Project. In my batch it was started from last week of August 2017. The first company was Deloitte. Some of the Big names are- Amazon, Colgate, Dabur, Airtel, Reliance Jio, E&Y, Deloitte, Bajaj Allianz, Aviva, DHFL, Aditya Birla Fashion, Aditya Birla Capital, Bandhan Bank, Yes Bank, Axis Bank, Religare, ICICI Securities, Bajaj Electricals, Bajaj Corp, Hero Fincorp, Transport Corporation of India, Protivi, Moody's Analytics, American Express and many others. In mid February 80% of the students got placed in one of the companies. The CRC department offer dream option for the students to sit for one company after getting placed in first company. I too got placed in TCIL in 2nd week of February 2018. The average package ranges between 3 lpa to 5 lpa. The highest package was offered by Amazon which was 14 lpa and ITC with 8 LPA. Deloitte offered 6 LPA apartment from 50k as joining bonus.

4

All the major events and festivals are celebrated in our college. The serial wise every events are mentioned below- FRESHERS PARTY- Freshers party which is called AGAAMI in the college is planned and celebrated in each year to welcome the new students. It is conducted twice a year as there are 2 batched of PGPM in College. INTER COLLEGE FESTIVAL- In NDIM every year SPANDAN is celebrated in whcih various college take part and perform various activities. Generally it last for a week. Last year it is celebrated in JLN stadium New Delhi. Fee Structure And Facilities

I have taken admission in this college based on its low fee as compared to others. All the details about fee structure are given below Total fee- 525000 (including registration fee) Registration 50000 application fee 500 (non refundable) Break of installments to be paid- 1st year fee- 265000 Registration- 50000 1st installment- 85000 (to be paid before commencement of class) 2nd installment- 130000 (1st week of 2nd semester) 2nd year fee-260000 3rd installment - 130000 (1st week of 3rd semester) 4th installment - 130000 (1st week of 4th semester) Hostel is provided by the private parties who are in tie up with the college management.Normally the hostel fee is 7000-10000. Before this you have to take admission in the hostel.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have taken an educational loan for entire course fee. College have tie up with HDFC bank. You can ask any branch of the HDFC bank and avail the loan provided that proper documentation. I have taken from State Bank of India, they also have the provision for implementing lowest possible interest rate if you manage to convince the loan manager.Firstly they asked me about my admission offer letter and prospectus of the college. After scrutinizing these details the manager asked me for the required documents to produce and after 3 weeks they finally approved and disburse the 1st installment amount to the college.

Campus Life

2.5

All the students came from different backgrounds and from the different part of the country. Some of the students are also from Nepal and African countries. They are all get together at the time of certain events in the college. Each carry different culture, religion ethnicity but the main of them are same to get into the corporate or be an entrepreneur. Thus this gives the common reason for all and get involved in the each activity of the college without discriminating each other. When we talk about student teacher ratios it is around 25:1, and in terms of gender ratios, it gives me immense pleasure to inform you that there are more number of female students then male. Moreover in the administrative department too no. of female employees are higher. In our college 20% of the students are from the higher economic background but that is not a great deal as they are too running for the same status as middle class. But here I have to consider a fact that the influence of politics is somewhat is not ignorable. The one who are backed by political power they tend to dominate the students crowd.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

I did not stayed in hostel. But from my friend circle I came to know that all the sharing facilities are available as per their cost. But main problem is water. Water is very limited. Students who come from water rich areas such as from north east they are going to suffer most. The rentals for PG's are ranges normally from 7000 to 12000. If you really want to stay at good place then you need to search a good hostel in local area such as Govindpuri extension, Govindpuri etc. In this localities a sound no. of good PG's are easily available and cost is also reasonable.Normally a good PG facilitates- 24*7 water supply, Inverter, speed WIFI connection and convenient transportation, near to any metro station etc.

Alumni/Alumna

In every year more than twice college authority conduct meet up for alumni in different cities. College authority have database of more than 1500 seniors. In social media too we interact with the seniors to get valuable inputs from them regarding the job scenario, changing trends of market etc.Majority seniors are very helpful. They act as a most trustworthy advisers for the institute regarding the corporate. Some of my friends joined their company from the referrals of the seniors itself.

Exam Structure

There are four semester in two years. Each semester has mid term and Final examination. Apart from that project reports and presentation curriculum is another aspects. These presentation are taken in normal classes but marks are added in the marksheet. There is also an extra column for attendance percentage in the marksheet. If you are not attending regular classes then after giving you warning they call or send a formal letter to your parents. Mid term is consist of 30 marks and final exam is of 70 marks. You have to get minimum 40% in each subjects to get pass. There is a option for shifting an exam if you have any collation between exam and interview or any other corporate activity after getting confirmation from the CRC department. If you got back in any of the paper then they took a charge of Rs 1k to reappear for the examination.

Admission

After receiving the newsletter from the college I went to college. One of the admission coordinator counselled me for about 40 minutes about all the required aspects and scheduled an interview. There was an two round of interview in both interviews panel focuses on my communication and general knowledge. After the interview I waited for 30 minutes for the result and got offer letter for admission.

Faculty

3.5

Majority of the faculty members are of national level. Some of them are members of ALL INDIA MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION (AIMS). 70% of them possess PhD degree. They took active part in the teaching. Apart from that all the professors are well versed with trending corporate scenario and trained their students with the best techniques and tools. You can expect every possible help from any department irrespective of your specialisation. Former dean was from Faculty of Management Studies, New Delhi. The key strengths of faculties are they continuously get interacted by the corporate who visit for final placement.
