Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is very good and friendly. Most of them have Mtech degrees and some of them have PhDs also. The exam pattern is different there are exams going on every 1.5 months. Although it is an autonomous institute you still have to study to pass the examination unlike other autonomous institutes

Internships Opportunities

Not big companies but you will get good companies to work with. For the 8th semester, you have options to do a project or internship or research. You have projects every academic year. Of course, if you choose a project for last semester there will be a master project.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, you are eligible for college placements. A lot of MNCs visit and recruit students for an average salary. The highest package at my time was 15 LPA and average of 4 LPA. During my time in college around min 70 percent of students got placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

When I got admission fees was less around 1.10 lakh per year but later it increased. I think currently you have to pay 1.35 lakhs. Campus placements are good for soft core branches. My batch was 2020 and almost all got placed.

Campus Life

Virangula is the name of the annual fest, it goes for 4 5 days and generally in Feb. Apart from that, every department has its own events, so much fun. Talking about the library, one of the biggest libraries you will ever see. 5-floor building dedicated to the library. You will get every resource material of any type not only just academics. Sports - Not much importance to sports if you are willing to do both academics and sports. But for entertainment wise it good. Different clubs are formed by students just like other big institutions

Admission

No such eligibility criteria but you have to score a minimum of 50% in PCM subjects in the 12th board exam. Once results are out there will be an advertisement for CAP rounds on the DTE website. You have to register on it and you will get all info related.

Sem 6 is considered preferable for the college placement many students starts getting placed from that, many companies like wipro, mahindra & mahindra, tcs, capgemini, etc. visits each year to the college each and every students gets atleast a offer to them few also gets more than one like 2 to utmost 3 also,750+ students got offered at the final year of 2023 if we include internship offer than it goes more than 1200, in campus highest package was 12lacs off campus was 62lacs, (85%)+ of the students gets placed each year in the college. After i get degree i would try for college placements and would also focus parallely for the off campus placements too, and ofc wherever i will get the highest placement i would go for it.

This college has a very big Alumni network. Because this college is started in 1982. And its highest package is 300000 and its average package is 4.5 lakh. And the graph of placement increases year by year.
