Remarks

The good remarks about the college include the very good sanitation facilities and the campus premises are full of greenary and cool breeze. The bad remarks about the college is that the teachers must be more experienced and the interaction must be increased between the college management and teaching staff as well as the students. The overall experience in the campus is very good and gave me a lot of memories and friends to memorise in my old age.

Entrance Preview

I wrote the entrance exam which is common for two states and I have also attended many exams like kcet , jipmer AIIMS exams. But I have qualified in eamcet exam only and I attended for counseling process when the state board of examinations called up on for the counseling process according to the ranks and marks secured. There is no interview like process to enter this course in our state.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is Generally very hard but it is quite easy to understand for the students who are really interested to learn about the different types of drugs and the chemistry of the drugs and their actions on human body. The students who missed the chance of getting admission in to medicine chose this course as a secondary option. There is a vast focus on practical learning and there are no elective options in graduation and there is a chance of elective options in post graduation course of the same.

Internships Opportunities

The internships are very valuable for very student who are pursuing bachelors degree in professional courses. In such a way, pharmacy students need to attend internship compulsorily to develop their skills other than theoretical knowledge. The average stipend amount ranges between seven thousand to ten thousand rupees based on the work they allot to the students according to their knowledge.

Placement Experience

3

The placement scenario is at low level from the past six years. The students individually go to the companies and attend the interviews to get a job. The placement job opportunities are good only for the post graduates of pharmacy and the average package ranges between twelve thousand rupees and fifteen thousand rupees and the post graduates get jobs in big companies in research and development departments. The major companies that visited the campus are bengal chemicals, hindustan antibiotics, cipla, aurobindo pharmaceuticals in india.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is affordable and the fee differs from student to students depending on the way they get admission in to the college. There are scholarship discounts for the students of backward classes and for the merit students also. In common, fee structure is between fifty thousand rupees to eighty thousand rupees other than hostel fee and transportation fee.

Faculty

2

The faculty are qualified enough to teach the students pursuing bachelors degree in pharmacy. The courses like pharmacy need the highly qualified teaching faculty and lab assistants having at least minimum experience of ten years working in different labs. The teaching staff are very interactive with the students but the office assistants and non teaching faculty are very rude to the students and does not help in improving the students result . The standards of teaching are quite good and suitable for the students of all states.
