Remarks

College should have experienced faculty with sufficient knowledge and have good communication in English not in begali. Must cover the class in only English and provide free internship in recognize Companies. Must provide Wi-Fi in all the semester not only when admission are open.

Entrance Preview

Direct admission but some of students appeared in UEM entrance exam. I want to know how computer work,computer manufacturing etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

my course was really interesting but faculty are not so experienced they only have good theory knowledge. research If they cover all syllabus that's enough for my college.

Internships Opportunities

No my college never provide us any internship. they only provide paid courses in bsnl and some of training institute Which are charged minimum 5k rs from us.

Placement Experience

My university claims that it gives 100% placement but not all of students get placed. Tns,bansali cables etc the which give average salary of 12K per Month. some of companies which are visit to iem Kolkata gives placement to uem college.every year around 60 student of uem get placed in tcs,wipro, tech mahindra etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This university is more expensive in comparison to other colleges ( 32k tuition fee). In my university tuition fee is 40K per semester + 1000 rs exam fee and no AC infrastructure is very poor.

Faculty

lots of faculty didn't have the major knowledge of the course and they always speak Bengali language rather than English. Most stupid people I have ever seen. This college is suitable only for Bengali people.

From 6th semester the students are eligible for placement opportunities in on campus placement. The companies like vedanta,Infosys,TCS ,ATA Steel,etc.visited my college. The highest placement in my branch in previous year is about 12.5 LPA,and the average package in my branch is 6.5 LPA .approx 70-80 percent students are placed in my branch in on campus placement.

Good college, good life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food is a vast subject and people will not stop eating, so the scope of food technology is just amazing. The college has its own faculty for different subjects. This btech course is of 4 years ie 8 semesters. Each semester has midterms and final semester exams. Last semester is for an internship. Midterms are of 20 marks, practical of 30 marks and final semester theory exams of 50 marks, so passing the exam is damn easy. Regular classes with good faculties make this course easy.

The college is strict about it's attendance. You need to maintain 75% attendance. And taking about the studies there is a very studios environment in the college and the labs. The Students here not just focus on academics they also do some good extra activities.
