The entrance exam I took was JEE. I took the exam in 2010 when there was only one level, unlike the current pattern. My AIR was 982. Many of my seniors, teachers recommended JIET for its good reputation and hence I opted for it.

Once again, placements are taken care by the college placement cell. A dedicated team of students and professors facilitate the procedure of placements end to end from inviting the best companies to getting the interviews of the students done. Apart from this, the placement cell also conducts training sessions to students to help students polish their skills making them more eligible.

The fee structure is different for SC/ST category students and is a bit relaxed. However, scholarships are available for students coming from low-income backgrounds. Education loans are provided by banks at competitive interest rates.

Scholarships are offered to the students having low family's annual income. There is a certain criteria for the grades. It is termed as Means-cum-Merit Scholarship.

They will be like torch bearers who would pass on their knowledge to help juniors avoid pitfalls and bumps on the road. They will be a valuable link between the students and the industry, alumni look up to their institutions to provide career services, mentoring - networking opportunities, retraining and skills development.
