Remarks

Eligibility for postgraduation is graduation with a minimum of 50%, for the post o have applied online and if we have any doubts regarding admission we can directly go to the college and ask. Reservation benefits are there, for reserved category students there are no fees only have to pay a stamp fee. The college is really eco-friendly with mango trees everywhere and teachers are very friendly and the nonteaching staff also very helpful during the admission process and also there is a lot of groups who are helping at the time of admission

Course Curriculum Overview

5

A major reason for choosing this college for postgraduation is that am completed my graduation also from this college and also my sister. The faculties are informative and friendly and the teaching methods are also good. There are different departments and a lot of students and in each department, there is a good faculty for all subjects. Term exams are very easy to pass because of the teaching method and they take revisions and teach very well

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The teachers inform us regarding Internship programs and help us to apply for them, I don't know much about an internship but they conduct paper presentations. It helps us to increase our presentation skills

Fees and Financial Aid

In this college the departments conduct some kind of job fair and also if there is any internship or any seminars in another college the teachers make us participate in that, they are very helpful in that, and I have got a scholarship during my postgraduation for the best student from college and it was sponsored by Mahindra finance.

Campus Life

4.5

The atmosphere is fantastic. And the stage in college is very beautiful its name is Amrakunjam. In college there conduct many programs like the annual fest, women's cell programs, celebrations, club programs, youthfest, party programs, blood donation camps, job fairs, department programs, etc. The facilities provided by the college are good, in the library, we can get all stuff related to our subjects and also available different magazines, epw, etc. There is the only problem is the lack of computer labs

Placement Experience:

From the second last semester of UG and PG students can attend campus placement calls and interviews, there is a separate club for placements that will make students able to attend the placement calls, the club will help them to achieve their dream through campus placement. So many companies like Wipro, Amazon, Flipkart, federal banks, syndicate banks, etc.. hire students through campus placement. The percentage of campus placement is increasing per year average placement is more than 70%. The average package is more than 10k per month, the maximum package is 1 lakh per month. After getting a degree students can choose either placement or higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because after gaining a master's in economics, I could be well equipped and eligible to prepare for and attend those tests and jobs I prefer. The college provides well-qualified faculties. There are enough lecturers and guest lecturers in every department. Most of them have doctorates and other high degrees. Some have even written some academic publications. Many of them have had years of teaching experience and they share a good bond with the students too. Different teachers have different methods of teaching and almost everyone considers the needs of the students and is even willing to bring about changes in their style. Course Curriculum is prepared according to the University of Kerala and UGC norms. As the college is having an autonomous status, the exams are conducted by the college itself following the university rules and regulations. Exams, both internal and semester are conducted regularly without fail and results to are published within a short span.

Remarks:

I chose a liberal arts college like Farook College because I wanted smaller class sizes and the chance to establish close relationships with other students and my professors. I thrive in a collaborative environment, and I relished the opportunity to engage with other students and work together to complete projects. Following listed are the things I liked most about the college: 1. Independence- One of the main things I liked about this college is independence. This college made me independent to take major decisions in my life. A media student should always be independent and critical in one's own decision making no matter whether the outcome is good or bad which is one of the major things I gained from this college. 2. Academia- Academia is another important factor that attracted me to this college. The college provides good academia with greater facilities of library with digital library that enables e-learning as well. The college provides ample atmosphere for research purposes as well.
