Eligibility for the course is a 10+2 examination certificate from any Board. And admission is done on a first-come, first-serve basis. Application forms and dates are released on the college website by the authorities after the term-end examinations every year. Application Form is available in both online and offline mode. To increase the entry, eligibility criteria should be upgraded by adding cut-off marks for all the respective courses.

I chose this course because I had a keen interest in biology and this course provides to do intriguing and useful inventions and research which may prove to be helpful to the human race around the world. It is an emerging sector in India and it is developing steady rate. Hopefully, the upcoming future will provide more opportunities and growth to the individuals who want to pursue this field. And there are 45 -50 per batch. The faculty is strict yet frank whenever help and guidance are needed. The teaching method is fair with normal blackboard teaching, PowerPoint presentation, and proper labs for carrying out practical's.

The fee structure is 18,500 per year. Scholarships are offered to students belonging to Backward classes. Financial assistance as such is not provided. Campus selection and stipend are provided to students who pursue Ph.D. from the college under their respective departments.

It all comes down to the Interest and proactivity of the student. All the courses and departments organize their respective fests (zoology fest, Srijan), and competitions during the year, and an annual fest is organized every year for the whole college. NCC camps are properly organized and are well-active the whole year. Basketball and Table tennis are encouraged too. The library is well maintained and disciplined. Specific timings for issuing of books.
