Quick review of MITS.

I think the general category students are facing the issue while joining the college because they have to be in the topmost position to get seats whereas normal people who belong to other castes are easily getting seats even if they don't have enough marks. The main reason for this is because of the reservation system.

I choose this course because I'm very much interested in embedded and VLSI. I can see the future of electronics and communication is very very bright, especially in India. We can see the good faculty: student ratio in the college. All the faculty were from top colleges in the country and their qualification is mostly PhDs. There will be exams from time to time every 3 months mid-term exams and semesters every 6 months. It's not that difficult to pass those exams.

Cognizant is giving us a full-time opportunity for an internship. There were several other companies as well that gives internship offers to students. Every student has to do 2 projects. We did a project named drowsiness detection which detects whether the driver is in an active position or not.

Placement wise I can say this is one of the best colleges in the local region. Students when they're in the 6th semester they'll be eligible for placement. The highest package is 24lpa from Goldman Sachs and the average package is 4 LPA. Almost every year all students will get placed. My plan is to do masters in the US.

Fees are fixed by the government so we can't see many changes in the fee structure every year. The cost to study is also when compared to other top-tier colleges. We used to receive scholarships from the government and financial assistance to the top performers in every exam.

College life gives you one of the best experiences of life. College management frequently conducts functions and will be free at that time. Top books and great journals and a digital library facility are also available. In the schedule itself, they'll give time for extracurricular activities. Almost all clubs they will be running in the college.
