Remarks

Eligibility of the course is to a student should be passed 12th with at least 50% marks. Applicants can find the application forms and another detail related to admission on the official website of the college and also by contacting the admission cell online and offline in the college administration department. The admission process is too much lengthy and slow it should be important to be improved.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose the course B.Sc. agriculture because There are so many scopes after the completion in the government sector as well as in the private sector. There were 5 faculties available for a ratio of about 100 students. And all teachers were NET qualified and Ph.D. scholars. So the teaching methods of the faculties are good and unique that can be easy to understand by all of the students. The terminal exams were going through by semester wise and it was easy to pass them with having good knowledge and long time studies.

Placement Experience

3.5

As Agriculture students, we get the opportunity for placement from the 6th semester and be eligible for the placements. We visited Patanjali company and 2 offers were made to us after that. The highest package offered by quick heal for about 12LPA and the average package of this college is 5-6 LPA. The placement of this college is 100%. My plan after my degree is to get placed in such a reputed company with a good position.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is an average fee structure of this college Also the Student gets fees hiked if they belong to a poor family or from a Defense background. The average course fee structure to study in this college is 4 Lacs for 4 yrs. I got placement in planet spark company in my 4th year, and my stipend was 4-5 LPA.

Campus Life

4

There was a social group called 'Pehel' run by the college students to teach local poor children to belong to rural areas. With teaching, we also arrange some goodies like pens pencils, erasers, notebooks, and other study material for them to support their studies in a new way.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facility was very good as this was value for money we get a study table, fan, and a wardrobe in our hostel room with two beds for two students. 24hrs. Water and electricity facilities were provided. Also, 3 grounds were provided for the sports and curricular activities for the students for both boys and girls. The meal quality was very good and we get breakfast, Snacks, dinner, and lunch on time. Registration for the hostel facility is all from the college administration department.

Other Applied Colleges

Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture Technology and Sciences - [SHUATS] | Master of Science [M.Sc] (Agronomy)

I didn't prefer this college for my Master's because it's not affiliated from ICAR, it's only affiliated to UGC.

They provide placement but not related to your course like I am a BSc AG student but they provide me sales job in IT company. Overall they are good in placement. If I told my experience then I don't act for placement I go for higher study because I want to do masters in AG science.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are many courses that are available here.. They offer a variety of courses. Fees are also affordable and lesser than other colleges. I have chosen Bsc hons in Agriculture because they have a very large area for field work. Different types of plants, trees etc are there to make the student learn about it. The agriculture labs, pharmacy labs, btech labs are very well maintained. They teach with the help of books. They also have a central library. They also take projector classes.. Collge reporting time is 9:30 and departure is 4:30. They take 50 minutes of each classes with a mid interval of half an hour for lunch.

The student ratio is good and they are helping nature. All the faculties are Ph.D. holders and fully qualified and their teaching method is good and completely knowledgeable and they teach in an easy way.
