Remarks

I didn't take any entrance exam to enter this college. The admissions were based on marks of intermediate. The marks should be above 900. There is a reservation in the admission process. I want to see improvements in the admission process like no need for reservations in the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

I would like to pursue this course because I am very interested in this course to learn about the science behind food. There are 60 students in this course with well experienced teachers. The teachers are done with their ph.D's. The teaching was well interesting. The exams were conducted thrice in a semester.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 2300 per year

Placement Experience

The placements were conducted once a year in our college. The companies like multinational companies and the Tata group of companies were used to visit the college and hire the students who are fit for the jobs. Overall 70 percent of students will get placements. My plan is to get a job in FSSAI after my degree is completed and I also wanted to do P. G in foreign.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

.My course fee costs about 23,000. But for my luck, I used to get a government scholarship i.e.Telangana epass scholarship. The scholarship amount is about 20,000. The scholarship will be given to the college. As lam now in my degree 2 years I didn't get any job. But for now, I am doing internships.

Campus Life

My life was full of happiness and joy on campus. There were many clubs in college like music club, literature club, cultural club, Heritage club, etc. Our college used to conduct an annual day every year in the month of March. And also many fests like food fest, fresher fest. Our college has a beautiful infrastructure with a darbar hall of many years old which was built by a Britishers. There is a library in our college there were many books in the library including life books.

Hostel Facilities

The registration for hostel can be done by us in college website. After that we used to pay the advance amount through f challan in college website. The hostel can be given to students based on their distance from home to college. The hostel was located in campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The timings are very convient from 8 30-1:30, it is very useful for the people preparing for competitive exams after graduation, curriculum is excellent as every 3 day of week we have a hands on pratical for 1 hr 30 min and great outcomes. In terms of improvement everything is so perfect. Internals are scoring as teacher guide and help them regarding what type of questions are asked and how to answer then and when it comes to board paper are corrected by osmania so it depends completely on us and exam are conducted in the month of may- july

for my department, campus drives started from the 5th semester. there weren't any much companies related to Biotechnology visited. but there were so many companies with better packages visited for management and commerce students. im currently planning on changing my field from life sciences to management. so im looking for job/course related to that.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester onwards we will have placements and are eligible for applying for placements. I think appo 6.5 lakh for annual is the highest and 2.50-3.50 lakh for annual is the average package offered by various companies. Students should have a minimum of 60% throughout the academics can apply as per some companies students with below 60 can also be eligible. I will do mba and also try to get a job so that I can work and student too.

Admission process is good in our college. As I'm a General category student I can't get benifits but I'll get reimbursement every year by applying scholarship every year. There is no entrance exam to this college admission process. I applied to this college via the dost website. during the notification of the dost website we have to apply for the college according to university wise or college wise .and I applied by University site I chose Osmania university in that I got 2 colleges 1 is Nizam college and 2 Osmania university college for women I preferred Osmania university college for women because that college has much success rate of students who studied there. Place for peace and study

College is safe for women as it is a women's college. College environment is wonderful. The college has a peaceful environment to study and reduce stress levels.
