Remarks

I already completed M.Sc. mathematics in the same college. After that I come across the Bharathidasan University direct entrance exam for pursuing PhD. This is the entrance exam which would be helpful to pursuing PhD without the M.phil degree. I passed the entrance exam. After that I joined PhD in SRC.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Actually I like mathematics from my childhood itself. That's why I chose Mathematics in UG. And also I like teaching profession. So I would like to complete PhD. My guide help me lot for my research. And also other faculties of my department are also so supportive and motivating for my research.

Internships Opportunities

3

There are summer internship for ug and pg final year students. From this they learned about self improvement, time management, how to plan the work and coordinate others. They look forward their career.

Placement Experience

4.5

Usually at the final semester students get the opportunities for the placement. Lot of schools and companies around Trichy came here for the interview. Capgemini, SRV higher secondary school from samayapuram and AKT school from kallakurichi are the most visited schools for our campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for my course is 17500 which is very affordable to all kind of people. And also I applied for the scholarship which is given by the Tamil Nadu directorate of collegiate education chennai especially for the research students.

Campus Life

4

Every year we celebrate the cultural programme in the end of July. In this fest the main theme will be most of the time regarding to the women empowerment, eco friendly, etc. Our college students are highly encouraged for the sports.

Placement Experience:

Students with bachelor's and master's usually opt for placement. Students pursuing phd in physics don't usually go for a placement. It's a common thing in phd everywhere. Students usually opt for post foc positions abroad. So this question is not much relevant for PhD. If you consider all other degrees, the average package is 1500-2000k/ annum where the highest goes somewhere around 10M Indian rupees. Popular companies like Google, Amazon and Microsoft recruit students regularly. 100s of companies come for recruitment and Almost 100% of students get placed for bachelors, but you can say it's 0% in a PhD as they don't even sit in an interview. My plan is to go for a post-doc position, preferably in abroad as it gives higher value to a career.(that's strange but true)

Remarks:

Worst management ever seen. They always look forward for money and not on future of students. They only need money even in this covid pandermic situation they look into collection of fees. The labs in our college are worst with no chemicals, the machinaries are not in working condition, no safety measures. Not even simple basic requirement for the lab. Even the class room are worst, no fan, light, its really hard to study in that class. We had given a lot of complaints to management and they are not interested in any of that
