Remarks
12 pass with minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCB OR PCM. Only merit based admission is acceptable with a quota of 10% scholarship for Jain minority students. An entrance test was conducted and a combined merit list was prepared accordingly. Further counseling led to the fulfillment of admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very much underrated and needs to be explored. Various areas like formulation and research are taught. Hence it is the best course after MBBS. The course is divided into 8 semesters and the syllabus is followed according to the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). There are two internals and one external/university exam for each semester along with practicals as well. The faculty members are well qualified with some professors having PhD as well. Teaching is completely professional with nice industrial exposure.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are varying from company to company. Most of the internships are paid with a varying stipends (5k per month). Companies such as Bharat parenteral, Century Pharma, Abbot, Alembic etc provide industrial training to students along with industrial exposure as well.
Placement Experience
The placement record of the institute is very nice. Most of the ug students opt for higher studies either in india or abroad. Those who pusure job after Bpharm are placed in renowned companies such as Abbot, Alembic, Zydus etc with a package of 3-4 Lakh/per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Overall tution fees for the course is 90000 per year with. Additional fees such as exam fees is Rs 3100 per semester. Hostel fees depend upon the type of room required. Mess fees is 55000 per year. There are numerous scholarships such as MYSY, jain minority scholarships and other scholarships as well.
Campus Life
The campus life is very exciting. Students from various regions of the country study here. The environment is healthy with no ragging inside the campus. Regular interaction with senior students and teachers take place. Cultural fests, sports competitions, and various seminars of the national level take place.
Hostel Facilities
Seperate hostels for girls and boys are present within the campus. Ac-Non Ac rooms are available with timely maintenance. Mess fees are of 55000 per year providing meals for 4 times. Hostel fees range from 20000-55000 per year. Various stores such as provision stores, cafeteria and canteen, and other refreshment areas are present inside the campus.
