Great institute for learning

I took the nchmct JEE exam to get into the college I was from a general category the criteria of age was 18-24 above the age of 24 you can't get admission in any of the colleges. After you get the results then the process starts so first go to the nearest IHM which will be mentioned in the results itself and ask for all the documents and all the doubts before counselling after clearing the doubts visit the same institution for your counselling, there you will have to fill a form and let them check your all documents. After that you can visit the official website of nchm and fill your choice of IHM there will be chances of rejection from top institutions if your rank is not good enough so fill it cautiously. Once getting admission to any of the Institutes then go to that particular institute for the admission process and there you will be a future hotelier:)

I chose this course because I wanted to become a hospitality professional and wanted to work abroad. There is a faculty for every single course separately so don't worry about the ratio. All the faculty members are well educated and passionate to teach us everything they know and they will always look what will be best for you. There will be midterm examinations and then term end examinations will happen if I talk about how hard these exams are then my answer will be that it will depend upon you how you prepare yourself for the tests all the exams will be moderate on an easy to hard scale but still you have to prepare yourself. Try to ask as many questions as you can so that it will help you get good marks in examinations and ask seniors for help if you are having doubts about anything.

Mainly students have to get the offer letter for the internship if they want to go to another hotel apart from that the placement coordinator forwards every single offer letter for the internship and If you want to go with them then just enrol for an interview and there you will go. The role you are offered is a trainee. You have to go to every single department so that you will learn from all of them within a time span of 4 months only.

After V sem you will be able to get the campus interviews. Companies such as Taj, Oberoi, lemon tree, burger King, reliance, McDonald's etc visit the institute for campus and there are plenty of offers so that almost everyone gets a job if they pass the interviews. Highest package offered is 27k-30k and the average package is around 20k The percentage of students getting placement is around 80% I am having a job offer from one of the above mentioned companies so I will go with them.

Fess hike will be an issue that all the students face because in every six months the nchmct takes action on fees hike and most probably the fees will be hiked in every year. But the fees hike policy sometimes get heavy on the pockets of many students. The cost to study will depend on fees every year but there will be more expenses once you get into the institute because the books, journals etc will also increase your monthly expense. Talking about scholarships there are no such scholarship opportunities for the general quota. But if you are sc or st then you will get the scholarship just go to the administration office you will get all the details regarding scholarship programs.

There won't be an annual fest but there are more different activities that keep students busy and happy just like we celebrate every festival together the new year begins with a party that is managed and arranged by students itself. As I was not a great book reader I only used to go to the library when I needed to sit quietly I haven't taken any books from the library but our library is pretty much big and you will find every single book regarding the hospitality industry All the amenities will be provided in practical classes and the faculties make sure you get to learn everything by helping you making food items and other faculties provide every amenity regarding their practical classes. There will be a sports week for you to get active properly and cheer your team and you will have a lot of fun in that particular week you can play anytime but that week will fill you with energy. There are no such websites or clubs run by students.

The basic facilities will be provided to you with the room itself such as electricity and a fan and some rooms will have a balcony attached with it there will be a set of almirah for you individually in your room. A study table and a chair will be also provided to you. Along with these items, geysers will be also there in the bathrooms. The meal was not that tasty and that's the reason why I left the hostel in the first place but all the other hostels have the same issue of food quality the menu is good and consists of different varieties of food every day. The registration process is quite easy because you just have to tell the institute when you are filling the form of admission in the institute and they will give you a form just fill that form and there you go you will be having a room. I stayed in the hostel for the first six months then I chose to stay outside and I left the hostel just because I was not a fan of the food of the hostel.
