College Experience

I myself wanted to be the part of Bachelor in pharmacy.as chemistry is my favorite subject. And I always wanted to do a career in medical field. Also in goa, Goa college of pharmacy is the best college for the one who wants to do bpharm. I asked my seniors about the college and yes...they were positive enough about it.

Talking about choosing this course as I previously said I love chemistry and always wanted my career in medical. Wanted to be a doctor but unfortunately couldn't, so Bpharm was kept as a back up. In Goa college of pharmacy we have...the best faculty...good and experienced once...who are timely with their Portion. We have more no. Of girls than boys in. Our college the semester exams consists of 50marks each paper as per the old syllabus and 50 marks practical's. They are easy to pass .and also maximum students can score well.

We do have internship in the companies but this year due to the corona pandemic it was cancelled. But usually it's based on sem 5 merit. the students according to the merit get a chance to choose the industry of their own.

After the completion of course you can opt for various companies in Goa...there are many no. Of companied in. Goa. Also the companies offer employment to many of the passed out students. The fresher's are paid min.20k at the start, later they are promoted.my plans after completing degree is to do Masters, mostly in the same college.

As our college comes under govt, we have less fees as compared to the private colleges. Also there is no stiffened at present for the students doing Bpharm

We have a library providing us lot many books. Also there is book bank for the students. Sports such as cricket , football, badminton are conducted by the students council. We have our social event FORMULATIONS which is conducted every year by the students council.

We stay 3 in a room . The room is big enough for us to stay. Also the mess is good . And cheap with enough quantity. For the registration. Hostel are provided only for those who come from far away. The hostel of our college is at Althino few minutes away from the college.

For the admission there were rounds according to the categories and the merit list. we didn't have any kind of interview or anything its was just the result that was required.
