Student's Review On AVN Institute Of Engineering And Technology - [AVNIET], Ibrahimpatnam, Hyderabad

It's some better when compared to the other colleges. The college is run by the owner of Dilsukhnagar public school. Let me tell you a genuine opinion. Any person studying in the college may get placed if he belongs to software or IT. The others must find it on their own.

Syllabus is given by the University, the college just make us complete that. No industrial exposure or visit at all. Every faculty was good & supporting. Facilities from mechanical & civil branches is leaving the college due to lack of salaries.

I didn't opt for any scholarship, as I was not eligible for that. But many students were doing it, as the government was paying for their studies. Many got benifited but the eligibility is important along with the placement.

Students must do it on their own. We must know the difference between placement & placement assistance. They just guide us but they are not completely involved in the placement of a student. Students must themselves arrange for the jobs as the companies these days are not approaching the college

The technical and cultural events are held in a grand manner, but only once a year. The faculty & management supports it & encourages the students to participate in events that are being conducted. But it's quite disturbing as the faculty keeps on changing.

There is no scholarship loan for the students. The Govt quota students will be paid by the Govt only. But the remaining students must pay their own fees. The college or university never provides any scholarships to the students, even if they have a merit.

College is spread over land of 20 acres. It's eye pleasing. Sports are being conducted regularly but there is no wifi available for the students. Library is also well furnished with all the books available. The may in civil & mechanical engineering may not have all the equipments.

I was a regular student, not living in hostel. The college doesn't have any hostel facility. The students must themselves arrange for that or take rooms for rent. It becomes difficult for outsiders to manage everything.
