Remarks

It is situated in my hometown.The building campus is excellent, being newly constructed.The selection is easy here. I had no other choice.I chose Mathematics because I like it.It has a great environment and the faculty here is also good.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was the first batch for MSc Mathematics, I took admission into.Now the course is well organised and updated.It covers major topics that are also useful in CSIR NET MATHEMATICS entrance.Our course didn't receive much exposure.The faculties were good, but I want to suggest that in colleges you have to study by yourself, teachers can only guide you.I specially liked Ajay Gupta sir, Jyoti mam, Sulakshana Bajaj mam.

Placement Experience

Actually in case of my course, we are not directly placed after the completion of degree. We have to qualify for CSIR NET exam for further career in teaching field or research field. A person is selected as a faculty in private colleges also only after qualifying CSIR net exam.So basically, the career is more towards government jobs rather than private placements.One can start coaching classes for graduate students if he/she likes.

College Events

The college actively participates in the inter college activities all over the state and at national level.Being the campus in the university itself, many events are organised here. Sports week, cultural festivals, book fares, exhibitions are organised time to time.People from all over state and sometimes even international artists are invited.It provides good opportunity for overall personality development of students.

Campus Life

The college infrastructure is fantastic.The environment is great and very natural.It has a huge library, unlimited free WiFi facility, full sports equipments, hostel etc.The labs are also well equipped with the instruments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is pretty relevant to the market. The curriculum focuses on real life projects and practical aspects.The topics are also industry relevant and topics and case studies taught were aligned with my career goals. The exams were well spaced throughout the semester providing me ample amount of time to prepare for the examination. The exams are challenging and cover comprehensive topics.The teaching methodology could also related some physical textbooks as textbook give good experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course which we have to study is MBBS. I choose this course as I was a bit interested in this field...talking about faculties now we have all the faculties but it seems like there will be a crisis of faculty members in some time. Talking about the student ratio we have 130 students in class and boys are in a greater ratio. The faculties who teach us are professors and senior demonstrators etc. In a year we have 2 internals 1 PUC and then the final examination.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in the final year of the course. So many companies came to our college mostly the local company but also the big ones like Wipro, Infosys, etc. The highest package of our college is 12 lacs and the average is 5-6 lacs. Mostly the students that are passed the aptitude tests get the job easily. Get placement or get a job in the IT field.

Here in pg courses admission is done based on ug marks. Eligibility for PG courses is to be a UG degree in respective subjects. Application form found on https://www.uok.ac.in/ Application fees are 500 INR For PG Courses. Admission forms are asked every year around May, but due to covid this year, the admission forms were filled around October. Reservation Benifit as per government norms( including 5% reservation for most backward classes (MBCs) and 10% for economically weaker sections (EWS), the total reservation is 64%. Reservation for SCs is 16%, 12% for STs and 21% for OBCs. After filling the form, apart from the UG marks, if anyone has NCC, NSS, sports certificates, their marks are also added. Then the merit list is prepared. This time the cut-off for M.SC ZOOLOGY is around 70%. Now the campus of the university is being built.
