Remarks

I'm gaining a lot of knowledge from my institution. The institution has a lot of facilities so that we can conduct proper research on are area of specialization. also, the faculty here is highly experienced and the placement cell is also commendable.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is a post graduation course of 2 years. The curriculum is a very well organised and more focus is made on the research work because our course is more practical in nature. However, the examinations are bit complex and lecture are also tiring.

Placement Experience

3.5

I have heard a lot about the placement of the institution. Every year the college conduct many walk-in interviews for the students on different posts. I have also talked to the alumni students and come to know that everyone is placed in renowned research centres and departments.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees of my course is 32,900 in which we have to pay 16,700 in the first year and 16,200 in the second year. I'm in the second year of my course. But before taking admission I made some research and found that the recharge by the college is less when compared to many other big colleges.

Campus Life

CIFE has good facilities for many recreational activities including badminton courts, volleyball and basketball court, tennis, etc. Also, the college has facilities for some indoor games like chess and carom. As I am interested in sports I have taken participation in ICAR level sports meet last year and won medals for my college.

Admission

The admission process of the college was strict. However, I managed to get admission in Master of Fisheries Science (M.F.Sc.) in aquaculture. I cleared the entrance examination conducted by Indian Council of Agricultural Research. The course had only 10 seats and luckily I got admission.

Faculty

3.5

All the faculty members are highly educated and well experienced in their field. I have got full support from my teachers in my first year and at present also I am getting full guidance from them. All my teachers are PhD holders and they possess field knowledge as well.

Campus placements typically begin in the 5th or 6th semester, depending on the college's policy, with eligibility requirements like a minimum GPA. Companies like motilal , toothsii, and various startups often visit for recruitment. The number of offers made varies by college and course, with 30-40 companies visiting for a batch of 100 students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is somehow outdated I guess , they should change the curriculum it's my request as we are in 21st century and still the old syllabus is being taught , The problem is with the exam cgpa rule Seriously if I see them the curriculum is just for below basic level , the remaining amount has to be done ourselves with extra efforts of you want to grab higher Less theoretical more practical is my suggestion Difficulty is quite normal ...
