Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was updated and modern the medical council of india . It made students ready for their placements. The exam pattern was divided into internals and external which held every year.

Placement Experience

The placement cell was too good. The students had good chances of placements by the college. Most of my batchmates including me as well placed in the top hospitals. Yes, the college also provided internships for the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was very low in comparison to other colleges. It was feasible for the students. The fees of my course(M.Phil) was Rs. 20,300 for 1st year and Rs. 15,300 for 2nd year. The total fees was Rs. 35,600 for 2 years.

Campus Life

The extracurricular activities were amazing. There were many types of workshops and seminars for the welfare of students oragnised by the college team. They oragnised events for the students to enhancing their knowledge.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the seniors were too helpful. They always treated us as friends. There was no ragging by the seniors of their juniors. They helped us by their notes and asignments.They gave us valuble advices for us .

Admission

The admission procedure was quite tough. The students got admission in the college on the basis of their marks in the entrance exam which was organised by the college. After the exam, Merit list was also prepared by the college for the students.The students got admission on the basis of the merit list.

Faculty

The faculty members were well experienced and they all had vast knowledge in their particular field of interest. They helped students too much in their educational life. They gave valuable advices for the students for their betterment.

JSSMC: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is according to the CBME guidelines and is followed very strictly in the college. The teaching method is Audio-Visiual with the professor teaching the students with help of powerpoint presentations The exam frequency frankly is really packed, which I believe should be relieved a bit.

I chose this course because occupational therapy is improving ones quality of life.I chose this so that I can help people that struggle with their everyday living after an injury.our curriculum provides all the practical skills that can be applied in real life settings.we have patients at our own hospitals and we have postings at different departments.we also have PMR that is physical medicine and rehabilitation that is especially useful for occupational therapists.After the 1st 2 months of our sem we have our 1st internals exam,theory and practical,then again after 2 months we have 2 nd internals,that is also theory and practical.And after 2 months we have our semester exams.As a medical student who is studying occupational therapy exams are difficult ,we have so much to study and we give more importance on practicals.

I heard thqt the course is good. The department is good and is giving their best. THE curriculum prepares you for real world applications like fingerprinting and all. The further academic pursuits are we can do masters in this and can take specialized course. After we can write entrance exams and also can work in both government and private sector. They should give better study materials . We have exqms frequently and sometimes the sem.exqms will delqy so much.The exam patterns mainly depends on the previous year questions and sometimes questions will be too hard.
