Remarks

Everything is satisfactory, as it should be. There's no bias of any kind. Work gets done, no need to worry about anything in this regard.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Of course, everything is transparent and fair. MBBS is divided into three Profs, I, II and IIIrd prof is subdivided into two parts. The course duration is 4.5 years, with a compulsory rotary internship of one year after clearing the final MBBS exam. This is a government college, affiliated to the Rajasthan University Of Health Sciences.Bedsidee teaching is good, and a decent amount of clinical exposure helps us deal cases in the long run. All and all, everything is satisfactory.

Placement Experience

5

Medical colleges don't really do campus placements. You could either clear NEET and work to get your PG degree, or you can work in private hospitals, or in medical colleges as junior residents or demonstrators.

College Events

3

Dandiya night, Holi-Diwali, Christmas, Independence Day, Republic Day, Cultural Week, Sports Week, Freshers' Party. They are organised by the students' union and about 5-600 people attend the festivities, including UGs, PGs and faculty. The events are covered by local media. Celebrity performers are frequent.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very nominal. Right now it's about 25k per semester. We just had to pay 1200 buck per semester. There's a yearly charge of about 600 for union fund and magazine etc. Other charges aren't really there. Nobody will ever ask for a bribe or anything. The administrative staff is very cooperative, and the smallest to smallest detail about fee is made available. There's nothing unfair in fee dealing.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Not really. The fee is anyway is too low. Girls of all categories, and students belonging to the ST/SC category do not have to pay tuition fee.

Campus Life

3.5

Cultural week encompasses different events in performing arts and literature. The gender ratio is about 1:1. I'll have to say there's a degree of casteism seen, but that is limited to a certain sect. All in all, everyone is tolerant of different cultural ideologies. Overall, the environment is accomodating and comfortable.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No, I didn't live in one. But there are separate hostels for UG boys and girls, and a co-ed one for PG residents. The accomodation is satisfactory, with water coolers and Mess facility in each building.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors, as in any medical college, are of course helpful. They help negate teacher issues and guide in studies.

Admission

It's a medical college catering to a wide area. I cleared RPMT with a rank of 178 in the general your category in 2012, right after my 12th boards. My family is based in Kota, so I opted the college. The college has a decent standard of education, with a cumulative bed strength of about 2000 and a dedicated super speciality wing.

Faculty

3.5

19 subjects, 19 departments, each with faculties who are specialists in the field. The professors are ranked as follows (in descending order of seniority): Sr. Professor, Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Senior Demonstrator, Residents (if any). Being experts in their fields they do well to explain the crunch points of the subjects, which go a long way in our careers. Needless to say, the professors hold a MD/MS/DNB/DM/Mch degree, as per the requirements of the department.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to be a doctor & I want to do good for the society. About the faculty: students ratio there are separate faculties for separate subjects & the faculties are well qualified with their experience in their fields. There are many faculties who are pioneers in their fields. Teaching methods is very good along with incorporation of latest technologies. Term exams are quite a tough nut to crack...but if you study well these are easy... Also if you want to be a doctor nothing comes easy in the way

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I want to be in a moral profession and have an interest in biological science, I chose the MBBS course. The faculty is pretty good and are pass-out doctors of great medical colleges. In MBBS faculty students ratio is not so high but it is good enough. Most of the faculty uses their own made slide which covers most of medicines book. There are mainly 2 exam in an year in which you can pass easily if you are a regular student but scoring a distinction can be pretty tough.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to be a doctor, to help humanity with my knowledge. This course gives me knowledge and license for the purpose. Every department has a quite good number of faculty members including senior professors, assistant professors, lab attendants and demonstrators. The overall student-teacher ratio is balanced and teachers are available for discussion. As it is a medical college, all faculty members are doctors either with their super specialty degree or PhD. Faculty members are well experienced and able to deliver the knowledge in the best way possible. Term exams are held 2 times a year. Pre-finals and final exams are held at the end of the year. Exams are moderately tough but can be passed without difficulty with the regular and conceptual study.
