SGSU offers a huge number of programmes ranging from UG, PG, PhD, Certificate, and Diploma courses in various specializations. There are a total of 6 faculty offering degree programmes. At present, SGSU is planning the beginning of new courses such as PG Diploma in Sports Tourism and Adventure Sports Administration. The fees structure of the SGSU is very feasible and practical. The charges are Rs. 8000 each annum which makes it to Rs, 24000 aggregate for 3 years which is not too expensive. Every student in any department would find the fee to be affordable.

SGSU also played a necessary role in organizing events at the state level and national levels such as Khel Maha Kumbh, Pre Vibrant Gujarat Sports Summit, Vyayam Setu, and Water Sports at Narmada Park, Bharuch. SGSU offers more than 10 courses at UG, PG, and doctoral level. Furthermore, it also offers diploma and certificate courses.

SGSU University provides career programmes in the field of Sports organization, Sports Event Management, Tourism, Law, Journalism, Nutrition, Physiotherapy, and Massage. SGSU also offers Phil and PhD in Physical Education and Sports Sciences. SGSU more than 60 research scholars and has collaborated with more than 30 universities in India and with more than 5 international universities. The Admissions to SGSU undergraduate programme will be based on the merit list. Admission to PG courses is based on the marks obtained in the Written Test/ Sports Proficiency Test/ Fitness Test, as organized by the university. The students who want admissions to SGSU Integrated MPhil and PhD course, candidates must have a master’s degree with a specialization in physical education & sports sciences with a least aggregate of 50%.
