Remarks

I have completed my MBBS from Andhra Medical College. I have enjoyed my study and learned a lot as well. The faculty was helpful and I haven't faced any big issue while studying. College is having its separate gym, medical department and hostel which is quite good. The up to date labs were also useful in my study.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The college is famous for the medical stream. I have done MBBS from college. The duration was about 5 and a half years. The college offers MD, MS and other courses as well. The syllabus was quite good and all-important subjects were covered in the course.

Placement Experience

4

Andhra Medical college provides good placement facility to its students. Placement cell is very helpful in providing training and getting students placed in good organisations. After the course completion, you can get an internship from the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

At the admission time, the fee paid for a year was Rs. 55,000 which was quite feasible. The course duration is 5 years and a 6-month internship is also mandatory for getting placed. Total fee for the course was around Rs. 2,75,000.

Campus Life

4.5

The college is also good in the field of facilities and extracurricular activities like gym, sports. The college is having its own medical/hospital department. Other facilities provided by the college like hostel, library, wifi etc. Labs and library have sufficient equipment and books which could be required by students during their whole course duration.

Hostel Facilities

4

The college is also having a good hostel facility for both boys and girls. The hostel rent was approx 10,500 per annum which is quite affordable. The hostel is having quite good facilities like WiFi and all.

Admission

The admission process I went through was similar to any other medical college. The candidates can take admission in the course via NEET UG/PG exam. The college is having a variety of courses like MBBS, MS etc to take admission. I enrolled for MBBS here.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty is an important part of any college. The faculty was quite skilled and well qualified. I have faced no issue during my college time. They were very helpful teachers who were humble to us and gave us good education.

The term exams will be conducted once in 10-12 months. And for every one professional year the exams are conducted and they are held by separate universities of our state . For us exams are conducted by ysrruhs. The exams are difficult to pass if we start studying in the last ie near to exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only. Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.
