Remarks

The college should maintain its reputation and build its goodwill again which it had few years ago. My father also graduated from the same.

Entrance Preview

I completed my 12 th from Seth Anandram Jaipuria School with 91 % marks and cleared CPT for getting registered under ICAI. After which I opted for CHRIST CHURCH College in Kanpur where minimum required percentage was 85%.

Internships Opportunities

There wasn't any internship offered by our college though I myself was interested in vocational training which led me to work under a CA Firm so that it will further be useful for my CA career.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placement and job opportunities were not many as the college is located in Kanpur city. Although according to that place it provided efficient opportunities for students to groom themselves and move forward in life.

College Events

3.5

The college organised many events like dance and music festival, singing, plays, real events and shows which involved all students and encouraged everyone to participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is low and any lower income group can afford is easily. There are not many expenses which students have to bear the administration department takes care of it.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't have any knowledge in this regard though I am sure there must be some procedure through which scholarship is provided to students. The whole fees structure is too low so as to require any loan availment.

Campus Life

3

Campus Life was excellent. There were 2 grounds and a church in our campus. The campus is quiet and peaceful. The workshops conducted by science students were remarkable. Being a Christian college it did had many Christian students but equality was maintained among all.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel Facilities are good. Though there are few near the college but in Kanpur many hostels are near Kakadev where students mainly reside. However I didn't required any hostel or PG as I lived with my family there.

Alumni/Alumna

I did not know any senior students and alumni network as I was totally occupied in my friend circle. Though all seniors were very helpful and respectable.

Exam Structure

The exam is conducted on quarterly basis Semester wise. The final exams were conducted in March where proper attendance was required.

Faculty

3

Faculty was really very understanding and strict at the same time. They were cooperative as well as best guide for our success in future. The Faculty admired and appreciated my hard work and intellect and motivated me.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is good but i belive there should be more flexibility and more diverse topics should be taught as i mentioned earlier there should be something related to drama and skit and acting as it enriches the creative side of the students and also it is very necessary for a management student to have a creative skills too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core circular is moderately relevant but lens more forward theory than the practical application code, subject cover, fundamental concept and providing a base, but there is limited focus on industrial skill project work, coding or case studies which affect real world redness. Elective options are few restricting subject choice. The labour is mostly fake and really updated making it less aligned with the current industry. Trends exams are conducted twice a year medicine and M with internal contributing about 30% of the mark the frequency naval but timing of clashes with the critical session level is moderate theory tends to focus on road learning rather than the critical thinking. Overall the circular needs to more practical exposure, updated content and flexibility to prepare student for employment or higher studies.

Placement Experience:

There are total 6 semester in my course. The students become eligible for the course from the 4th semester onwards. The placements are not good in the college. It's very average. The highest package of the college is 4 lakh per annum. The average package of the college is nearly about 2.5 Lakh per annum. The lowest package of the college is 1.8 lakh per annnum. Nearly about 50% of the students got placement from the college. After getting the degree, my plan is to pursue the higher studies and do government exams preparation.

Admission:

The admissions are purely based on merit. The eligibility criteria is a student must have passed INTERMEDIATE WITH 40% FOR GENERAL AND OBC, SC/ST -33% MARKS. There is no Interview and the total number of seats intake are 80. The admission process is quite straightforward and lucid. I chose B.com because it provides a broad scope of employment options and job scope for graduates as a large number of B.Com graduates choose to pursue self-employment or land lucrative salary packages in prestigious companies.

Remarks:

Starting off with the negative effects of attending college. Tuition has skyrocketed over the years leaving college students thousands of dollars in debt right out of high school, since many people cannot afford to fully pay their schooling off. Going in that much debt is a huge benefactor of people attending college because many people just cannot afford it.
