My college experience

The college is very good and is very strict when it comes to discipline. It is also very cooperative with it's students and helps them in every matter. It also conducts various cultural activities to involve students not only in studies but also in various other aspects.

The exams are held semester wise and the marks are calculated on an average for the same. There are two semesters held in a year and the average of both is your score. You have an opportunity to do good even if one goes bad.

There are a lot of placement programmes held in the institute. Various companies and new-bees look for potential individuals to offer a job to. There are no certain internships available at college but you can carry them on long with your studies.

There are different innovative seminars held in college every other day to help students do better and make them more knowledgeable. It helps them get a better knowledge of the subject they are studying.

The fee structure is quite feasible and worthy. It changes every year but it is not much of a burden. It depends on your family's annual income too. In addition to that, the college also provides various stipends for travelling and attending seminars internationally too.

An annual book/contingency grant of Rs. 32,000 and support for research-related domestic and international travel is available to students. Junior Research Fellowships are awarded to all selected PhD students. These fellowships include a monthly stipend ranging from Rs. 25,000/- to Rs. 28,000/-, hostel accommodation (or a house rent allowance) and medical benefits.

They are various extra-cirricular activities provided by the college. They are various grounds provided for badminton, soccer and cricket. They are coaches too if you want to learn a sport and they are various events conducted. They are also labs provides for yoir research and they are well equipped.

The hostels are well equipped with gym, yoga rooms, table tennis court, badminton court, a small soccer or crucket ground and also a movie club and a cultural association club. In addition, a mental health counselor attends the campus regularly.

They is no ragging in college and it is strictly punishable. The seniors are very helpful and are always there to help in any way. The seniors and alumni are therefore to look up to. They are very cooperative.

You've to give an entrance exam based on which you'll be selected. An interview is conducted after the examination and you're selected right after. The admission process is the same for every year but you're allowedto sit for the exam based on your merit.

The faculty is very cooperative and helpful. They are very concerned about the well being of the students and are always eager to help and make their students do better. They are also strict and follow by the discipline.
