Remarks

IGICH has a wonderful Library with good number of books on Child Health Care services. The facilities available in this college are good. This institute has very helpful and supportive faculty members.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure is framed well and it is a mixture of theoretical classes and practical sessions. The exam structure is also good and it is written for a total of 400 marks. The theory examination includes two theory papers carrying 100 marks each. The practical examination is for 75 marks and the viva voce carries 50 marks.

The placement cell of the college helps in guiding the students as per their interests and capabilities. The college is also responsible enough for training and development of the students to prepare them for the recruitment process.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee of this college is collected as per the IGICH norms. It is an aided college and the fee is not very expensive. It is reasonable for the course, Paediatric Intensive Care when compared to other colleges.

Hostel Facilities

The college provides an excellent facility of accommodation for the students inside the campus. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The food is good and it has good infrastructure suitable for learning.

The seniors are very helpful in guiding their juniors along various subjects in detail. They also help the fellow students in patient’s examination as well. The college have alumni association which arrange alumni gathering program.

Admission

Admission to the course Paediatric Intensive Care is done mostly through interview conducted by a panel of 4 members. If necessary, entrance test is conducted to assess the ability of students for the admission.

The teaching staffs are very well qualified and they have immense knowledge about the subject. The professors guide the students in the right path and there are interactive sessions which make the classes much more interesting to learn.

Doctorate of physiotherapy is a 6 year full program which includes master degree also so we dont have to learn masters separately As this is a new course we are less children in our college but it is growing gradually exams are not so tuff compared to other colleges as it is direct questions from textbook
