No, a fresher with a B.Com degree who wants to study finance at IBS Hyderabad doesn't need CFA, CA, or CS credentials. The IBS Hyderabad MBA in Finance prepares students for a profession in finance by teaching them financial principles, tools, and procedures.
An MBA in Finance or a position in finance does not require a CFA, CA, or CS. MBA finance graduates often start their careers in investment banking, corporate finance, financial analysis, or consultancy and advance with experience and certifications. However, credentials and experience might provide candidates with an edge in the competitive banking industry. Thus, MBA finance students should intern, participate in financial-related extracurriculars, and acquire CFA, CA, or CS certifications to improve their knowledge and employability.
It is recommended that you keep SIMSREE and GIM at the top of your list of colleges to consider. Both of these colleges have a strong reputation and are well known for providing quality education in the field of management.
While IBS Hyderabad may also be worth considering, it is important to keep in mind that each college has its own strengths and weaknesses. It may be more suitable for some students based on their individual needs and goals, while it may not be the best fit for others.
On the other hand, SIBM Bangalore should not be included in your list of colleges to compare. There may be various reasons why this college is not as highly ranked as the other colleges mentioned, and it may not provide the same level of education and resources as the other colleges.
In conclusion, it is important to carefully consider all factors and make an informed decision based on your individual needs and goals. Take the time to research each college and weigh the pros and cons to determine the best fit for you.
IBS Hyderabad is better than IMI Bhubaneswar. Following are some parameters on the basis of we which we can compare-
Now, the choice is yours. You can choose on the basis of your aspirations and priorities.
Getting into "IBS" Hyderabad is not tough at all. In fact, their admissions team will keep calling you until you give them a straight and strict answer stating that you are not willing to take admission to IBS but rather to the Indian School of Business (ISB). Generally, people get confused between the two IBS and the ISB.
The selection criteria for IBS is, you have to take any one of the exams like CAT or XAT or NMAT or IBSAT Scores, and once you clear the cut-off you have to go through a personal interview and then a group discussion, with good academic scores.
It is difficult to estimate or guess the lowest package offered to a marketing student at IBS Hyderabad. However, the average package offered to the marketing batch of 21-22 was 6.5 LPA. The lowest package can vary from student to student and depends on factors such as company, job role, work ex, academic performance etc.
The graduation marks do not matter during the time of final placements. But, some companies have their own selection criteria and require to have a minimum of 60% throughout academics. It is generally advantageous to have a consistent academic performance throughout your 10/12/Grad. Hope this helps!
ISB Hyderabad or ICFAI gives MBA degrees and is one of the good business schools in India. It has good facilities and a good campus. There are also a good number of companies that visit their site.
But the intake and the costs are two big worries. They take in close to 1000 kids each year, which makes it hard to find unique jobs for all of them. Also, the fees are close to Rs. 16 lakh, which is a lot more than what other B-schools in the same grade charge.
Faculty and pedagogy: The school is recognized by the AACSB, and the way students learn at IBS is through continuous learning. They use a case-based teaching method to make business education more useful. The teachers are well-known and have a lot of experience teaching. There are a lot of people with PhDs from top business schools like HBS, IIMA, Wharton School, and others. Many former students come back to teach.
Alumni Network: IBS has been around for a long time, so many of its graduates are in top management roles in India and around the world. It has about 58,000 people working all over the world who went there. This helps them build good relationships with businesses, which leads to good job prospects for graduates.
Locational Advantage: ICFAI has many campuses, with Hyderabad and Mumbai serving as their business relations hubs.
Peer Learning: When deciding who to let into its MBA program, IBS considers not only the candidates' good grades and work experience but also how well they might fit into the program. This makes sure that each group has a good mix of people and that people can learn a lot from each other. So, my conclusion is that you should go to IBS Hyderabad if you don't have any better choices or if the fees aren't a big deal for you.
Placements: 393 recruiters participated during ISB Placements. Top employers include HDFC, Bajaj Capital, ICICI, Deloitte, HCL, Zomato, Wipro, etc. Students received an average salary of INR 34.07 LPA. The Highest Salary stood at Rs.15.89 LPA.
