The Candidate should have passed 10+2 from Science, Commerce, Arts & Humanities etc. (HSC, CBSE, ICSE, IB Diploma (of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva, Switzerland), IGCSE (University of Cambridge) or their equivalent as can be stated/or established by Association of Indian Universities(AIU), www.aiuweb.org)) securing aggregate 50% marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only). Candidates who have their 10+2 results pending will be provisionally admitted subject to furnishing the certificates when available.

B.Des. program at MIT WPU started in 2018 July. Therefore, we do not have placement history as of now. However, the design department will leverage on the design requirements of all those companies that have been visiting MIT WPU for placements since the last 37 years for campus recruitment. Following is some information on the placements of the students of other disciplines at MIT WPU last year.

What will be the cancellation policy for B.Des. program in MIT-WPU?

Cancellation Policy

  • Candidate shall apply for cancellation in due format available with MIT – WPU and submit signed copy of application in person or send through email mentioned in the Application Form to the concerned Head of School/Department of MIT –WPU
  • After receiving an admission cancellation request from the candidate, the Head of the concerned school/department of MIT –WPU shall recommend the case and forward the case to the Registrar through the Dean, Admissions for canceling the admission immediately. The admissions section shall give the acknowledgement of cancellation of admission to the student and a copy of the same will be sent to the concerned school for records.

Yes. MIT-WPU DAT 2020 is a Computer Based Test, to be held on 26 April 2020. MIT-WPU DAT exam/question paper will be testing general knowledge, logical reasoning, analytical thinking, observation, environmental and social awareness, visualization, spatial skills, and design sensitivity along the lines of UCEED 2020 but for a two hour duration.

    • BA(Political Science/Public Administration/Sociology…etc.) is a theoretical course where there is minimal exposure given to students towards practical aspects of functioning of government, active participation in policy making and research or preparation for UPSC competitive examination.
    • The BA Honours (Govt Admn) degree program focuses on the experiential, facilitative and case study method of learning whereby the students are exposed to a participative mode of learning.
    • The highlights are –
