For PhD courses, BITS Pilani also provides financial assistance to financially weaker students. Full-time PhD students are eligible for an Institute fellowship of INR 34,000 - 37,000 per month in the first year based on their PhD course. Candidates who have been admission with master's degrees like ME/ MTech/ MPharm/ MBA/ M.Phil or an equivalent Degree are eligible to receive a fellowship of INR 37,000 per month. Other admitted students have the same fellowship amount. However, higher Fellowships can be made available in the subsequent years.
