All the 3 NITs namely NIT Trichy, Surathkal, and Warangal are considered to be among the top NITs and are highly regarded engineering colleges. Their rankings are also quite similar but in my opinion, the preference order should be
NIT Warangal>NIT Surathkal>NIT Trichy
The reason Trichy should be your last option is because it does not permit students to go for Internship which in turn results in no PPOs. Many students get PPOs and thus are free from the stress of sitting for placements. Also, internships give you a better experience of the real world. Here is a brief overview of these 3 colleges

The placement scenario of these NITs is somewhat the same so that should not be your primary concern. Focus on personal preferences like proximity to home, hostel fcilties, etc
I have friends in all the 3 institutes so I happen to be the right person to answer your question
A friend in NIT Trichy told me that the lectures are boring and the professors are incapable of delivering the concepts in a skillful manner. Most of them are hardly interested in teaching and offer no individual assistance. Only a few exceptional professors help you here.
Meanwhile, my friends at BITS Pilani and IIT Bombay were all praised for their respective institutes.
So yes there is a huge difference in the quality of education and opportunities offered by the aforementioned institutes. However, in the long run, it’s your skills and talents that matter.
There are several reasons supporting the cause that NIT Trichy is better than NIT Surathkal, with the fact that there are unemployed M.Tech graduates even from NIT Surathkal. The table below gives a brief overview of the institutes.

NIT Surathkal |

One of my friends got ousted from M.Tech in NIT Surathkal due to poor marks in the beginning semester. In the next year, he got into NIT Trichy and successfully secured a PSU job in placement. On the other hand, there were several students from that batch of NIT Surathkal who remained unemployed.
In the batch of 2012-14, about 29 students from M.Tech were unplaced in NIT Surathkal. Even the training and placement cell and the department did not care about the failure of so many students.
There are students from NIT Surathkal who are still struggling with odd jobs in hand, and some are even unable to settle in life.
So, if you have to choose between NIT Surathkal and NIT Trichy, prefer NIT Trichy. You will get better placement and opportunities at NIT Trichy as compared to NIT Surathkal.
The choice of the institute for pursuing an MTech in Electrical Engineering depends on what you want from your Masters.
Ultimately, the better institute is a matter of preferences and career prospects.
My uncle is a successful architect and has the experience of employing many architects. He shared his experience stating that architecture students of both BIT Mesra and NIT Trichy are Unfortunately both the institutions are engineering colleges where architecture is considered equal because both are engineering colleges with Architecture as just one of the many specializations offered by the institute. None of these institutes are specialized in this field so the students study in a more engineering-oriented ambiance. They lack the ability to think independently of constraints imposed by engineering abilities available in India. I recommend you pursue Architecture from an institution that has Architecture as its flagship course like CEPT or SPA.
Nevertheless, comparing Architecture from BIT Mesra and NIT Trichy, I will say the former has a better crowd and opportunities than the latter. Both are somewhat at similar levels and it's hard to make a direct comparison. It's that students from BITS Mesra are better exposed so they make better Architects than NIT Trichy students.

Overall, if you are interested in pursuing an MCA program in India, NIT Trichy could be an excellent choice due to its reputation, academic excellence, and placement opportunities. However, the ultimate decision should depend on your individual preferences, such as your career goals, location, and course offerings.
NIT Surathkal has better placements for MTech. According to the recent placement highlights, the highest CTC and average CTC offered were INR 28 LPA and INR 12.25 LPA, respectively. Companies such as L&T Infotech, Standard Chartered Bank, ZS Associates, Capgemini, Tredence Analytics, Exl Service, etc. are the major recruiters that take part in NIT Surathkal placements.
NIT Trichy is the better option. It is better than SSN Chennai in terms of academics, infrastructure, peer group, and campus life. The student crowd of NITT is amazing. You will share your lectures with talented students and get to learn from them. It has a good placement record as well. According to NIT Trichy placements 2022, the average CTC received by the students was INR 6.5 LPA.
Although as a branch ECE is more preferred by students, given a chance you should choose NIT Trichy.
