There is only one batch as of now who are currently in 2nd year. Considering the situation of COVID-19, students might not receive placements for at least 4 years. You cannot necessarily point out companies and anticipate their preference towards PGPs.

Even if the recruitment takes place, the process will be as follows:

• IPM students only get placed after their MBA, following the PGPs. The same companies will recruit you whether you have entered through CAT or IPM. Only your academic credentials will be taken into consideration.
• You will have average to best placement, given your academic backdrop in both graduation and PGP, as opposed to the students of CAT.
• Students who enter via CAT usually get serious after 2 years of their studies. There are students who indeed pursue their graduation from several institutes that are not highly spoken about and choose to study Engineering or Commerce.
• In contrast, IPM carries a very rounded curriculum vitae, supporting their thoughts to reach beyond accounting or economics and similarly helping them construct an accurate amount of mindset in every individual field.

If you have pursued BBA from IIMR, then you will remain several steps higher than someone who studied in a college not greatly renowned. There are very few chances that an IPM student would be placed lower than PGP. It might be a little less, but this is seldom seen.

One of my close friends studied at IIM Rohtak. According to him, his first two years were really interesting. But gradually he realized how rigorous the course was. He, like any other young adult, faced a lot of ups and downs throughout his college life.

Due to the lockdown, his second year was conducted online. This really made him realize how important being on campus was for him.

He shared some things that took place in the college before the lockdown.

• On-campus, they used to have a lot of club events, organizing fests, group activities, debates, and much more.
• Random quiz competitions took place in the classrooms during a free period. They participated in them which was useful yet fun.
• The infrastructure of the college is really good. It is well maintained and clean. Many things would take place in the campus that they almost lost track of time.
• Starting the day with morning yoga, attending classes, taking part in quizzes, taking the examinations when conducted. A day goes by in college by following a proper routine.
• They also organized birthday parties and movie nights at the hostels.

These were some of the things that made his college life amazing, even though it was for a year. Their system of following the 7 subjects per trimester helps students learn a lot about mathematics, social sciences, management, etc. in depth.

My cousin recently joined the institute and has seen students frequently vacate the FPM program of IIM Rohtak. There can be several reasons for this. However, it is somewhat unlikely and vague as well. Especially, when considering the issues concerning the director, as is known by the students.

Nobody can vouch for the scenario taking place at the institute. Thus, it is always the right choice to analyze what you are going for. It is suggested to stay updated with any information at all.

IIM Rohtak is at par with other B-schools in this league. It is a decent institute and is specialized in various domains. There are certain factors that have made him reach these heights.

Placements:

• The institute is known for the best placements. Companies such as Google, Amazon, L&T, etc. visit the campus for recruitment. 
• According to the reports by CRISIL, IIM Rohtak has been around an average CTC of 12.3 LPA and the highest ranged to 30 LPA. 
• This hike in salaries has resulted in IIM Rohtak being an assuring influence.

Faculty:

• The students here have the benefit of receiving special and proficient assistance from all the old IIMs. 
• The institute is known for its highly qualified faculty. 
• They provide proper guidance to the students in their academics as well as support them in their various ventures.

Programs:

• The IIMs are famous for their excellent post-graduate programs as well as executive programs. 
• The programs conducted at IIM Rohtak are tremendously efficient and relevant.
• Students are prepared to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• This helps in their adjustment to the corporate world.

IIM Rohtak is an uprising institute and would soon be at the same level as other IIMs and among the top 10 B-schools’ list of the country.

You have heard it right. IIM Rohtak does not have the cap around anymore. You will have to apply separately for this college. It might cost about INR 2000 for the form. The college also does not have any sectional cutoffs either.

• 78% for OBC NC.

As far as salaries are concerned, the highest is INR 24 lakhs per annum and the average is INR 13.70 lakhs per annum. The average salary for the college has increased from INR 11.85 lakhs which was the case last year.
