Is it worth joining IIM Indore's EPGP programme keeping in mind the placements?
The EPGP Programme was established in the year 2002 at IIM Indore and has produced a great number of alumni since then. The graduated alumni have been performing remarkably well in their fields. The track record set by them is exceptional.
The EPGP course content at IIM Indore is compressed, precise and the learning process is highly based on real-life developments and circumstances. It is one of the most effective ways of learning.
If you have a non-IT background experience of 5-7 years, then you are highly likely to land a good placement. A salary package ranges up to 25 LPA.
Even a candidate with 7 years and above experience would gain no instant financial advancement except some knowledge and academic qualification. You should not hope to acquire the benefits of this degree steadily. The IIM tag is kind of a long-term investment and would help you in getting through the corporate sectors with its name itself.
What are the merits and demerits of the integrated 5-year BBA+MBA that is being offered by IIM Indore?

Is IPM IIM Indore T.I.M.E online coaching good?
One of my friends took T.I.M.E online coaching for IPM at IIM Indore and having read online reviews from similar aspirants here are some things I got to know.
- This is a 5 years course. The reviews are average. A good path would be to go for CAT after your graduation.
- But if T.I.M.E is what you want, then it is undoubtedly a good coaching institute for the CAT exam preparation. However, it will only help you if you do serious preparation.
- During the offline coaching, things would be different and you can perform much better than while learning at online coaching.
It is suggested that offline preparation in TIME would be much better than enrolling online. So try to enroll in a classroom course if possible.
Is Career Launcher good for the IPM, IIM Indore entrance examination?
No, the Career Launcher is not a good option to prepare for IIM and it will be a total waste of time and money. Some of the people I know took this option and here’s what they had to say about it.
- The faculty of this course are very slow and they are not serious at their jobs.
- The weekend batch is not serious enough. The teachers are neither encouraging nor enthusiastic about the studies.
- The teachers were unable to complete the entire syllabus, as they often delayed the teaching process.
- This created a lot of problems for the students as without completing the syllabus they couldn't perform well in their exams.
- Although the teachers had increased their working hours after the students talked to them regarding their problem, it still couldn't make any difference.
- Also, the teaching style of the faculty members is very poor.
- The test series of this course is good, but it is of no use if you are unable to complete the syllabus.
It will be better to join some other offline coaching classes or go through some online courses and references for your preparation, as it will be more time and cost-efficient. Paying 42,000 for this career launcher program is a total waste as you will get nothing in return.
Hence, it will be better to not join the career launcher as it is completely not worth your time and money. Instead, join other coaching classes or self-study with the help of the internet.
Which one is better: IIM Indore or IIM Ahmedabad?
To compare the two IIMs let’s consider the following factors:

Alumni network: The alumni network of an institute depends on the duration of the establishment. The older the institute, the stronger and larger will be its alumni network. This is why IIM Ahmedabad has an upper hand in this aspect.

Is the IPM program at IIM Indore very competitive? How many students take part in the IPM test every year on an average & what's the awareness level of IPM?
IIM Indore is a major deal in and of itself. According to my friends studying at IIM Indore, around 15000 students (approximately) took the aptitude test last year.

Integrated Program in Management (IPM) is a 5-year program offered by IIM Indore after completion of which you will get two degrees; a Bachelor in Arts (Foundations of Management) which will consist of the first three years and an MBA for the last two years.
