NLSIU Announces 'AZB & Partners Scholarship' For BA LLB Honours Students; Check Details Here

New Delhi: The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) and the corporate law firm AZB & Partners have announced the 'AZB & Partners Scholarship' for the upcoming academic year 2023–2024. Just now, a contract was signed between the institution and the law firm.

The scholarship would provide funding to five deserving NLSIU Bangalore students enrolled in the BA LLB (Honours) degree. The grant will cover the students' yearly tuition costs for five years.

According to the university, as part of its Inclusion and Expansion Plan 2021–25, it has accepted its largest cohort of 240 students into the BA LLB (Hons) curriculum this year.The NLSIU Financial Aid Policy shall be followed in the distribution of the scholarship money to the recipients, according to the university's official statement.

“We are thrilled to be working with NLSIU, the top law school in our nation, on this project to support deserving and exceptional law students and create a strong legal framework for our industry. We consider this to be an offer from our firm to help NLSIU students since NLSIU has provided some of our firm's greatest solicitors throughout the years” said the AZB team.

NLSIU registrar N S Nigam said, “We sincerely appreciate AZB and Partners' significant financial support of our scholarship programme. Students who might otherwise find it difficult to support their study at NLSIU will now be able to take advantage of this kind donation thanks to their contribution. Scholarship programmes from top law firms like AZB and Partners will be essential as NLSIU begins to carry out its mission to offer a more comprehensive education”.
