Manav Rachna University becomes the first university which offers IBEC for all three International Baccalaureate programs.

New Delhi: Manav Rachna University sets an international benchmark by becoming the first ever university in India to offer IBEC in Primary Years Program (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Program (DP) through its B.Ed. degrees. The program will be offered in partnership with the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO).

In the press release Manav Rachna University stated “The university press release read, “The IBEC program offers a unique opportunity to expand horizons, embrace diverse pedagogies, and unlock limitless possibilities for exploring the IB Journey. Moreover, it opens doors to teaching positions worldwide and grants access to a wealth of IB community resources, including the Programme Resource Centre, global conferences, and collaborative opportunities.”

The university also said, “The introduction of the IB educator certificate program at the School of Education & Humanities is a testament to the University's commitment to fostering international standards in education, emphasizing inquiry, research, and project-based learning,”

Manav Rachna University Becomes a part of the Worldwide Network of Universities offering IBEC Certification

As per the press release, Manav Rachna University becomes a part of the Global IBEC Universities worldwide that offers the IB Educator Certification. In today's world, having teachers with international certifications is really important in education. Certifications like the International Baccalaureate Educators Certificate (IBEC) help teachers follow global teaching standards and make sure students get the best education possible.

Manav Rachna University’s First IB School in Faridabad

Manav Rachna University signed a MoU in October, 2023 showing its commitment to promote international standards in education. The university started its first IB school in Faridabad. The institute plans to establish more IB schools in various cities in the upcoming time.
