Chandigarh University Students Explore New Parliament and National Museum on Industrial Visit

New Delhi: The students of Chandigarh University’s Institute of Media Sciences recently undertook an industrial visit to the New Parliament of India and the National Museum of India. 45 students took part in the visit on March 20, 2024. 

At the New Parliament of India building, students of Chandigarh University took away a rich experience that they will surely use in their media endeavours. The students were able to sit in on a session and witness democracy in action

The students were also able to understand the different procedures of the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha and gain a more enhanced understanding of the Indian legislative process. They also gained insights into Indian governance. 

At the National Museum of India, the students developed a deep and rich understanding of Indian history and culture. They observed the vast history of India, represented by ancient relics, all the way to modern art by renowned artists all over India. Students were able to absorb the diversity of Indian heritage and gain inspiration for their future endeavours in the media.
