  • Applied physicists have a different view of the world around us. Physical phenomena turn into challenges, fascinating questions to investigate and analyze. But as an applied physicist you go one step further, by applying your knowledge of these phenomena in new technological developments. For example, think of:  
    •    increasing the efficiency of solar cells  
    •    new ways to generate energy
    •    even faster data traffic
  • The Master's program in Applied Physics trains students to become a Master of Science in Applied Physics (MSc).
  • Students develop great expertise in the field of physical phenomena, novel experimental and computational tools, and leading technologies. The extensive and unique practical experience that they gain during their training is particularly useful for finding a job.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • A Master's program applicant should have a (minimum) 4 year Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or its affiliated college.
  • Accreditation should be by NAAC, AICTE, or the institute should be on the list of Institutes of National Importance. In case of accreditation by AICTE students should include a statement in the application documents from the university confirming the AICTE accreditation.
  • A CGPA of at least 8.5 on a 1-10 scale.

Indian Eligibility:

  • Students are required to submit their 4 years of bachelor’s degrees from the above-mentioned accredited institution with 75% or above.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
