Universiti Putra Malaysia PG Admission Requirements

UPM offers postgraduate programs through its school of graduate studies. It offers programs in more than 256 fields of study. The general admission procedure is the same. There are also some program-specific requirements for PG courses.

Application fee: 60 USD

Academic requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 CGPA out of 4 or equivalent.
• Some courses also accept a Bachelor’s degree in the related field with a minimum of 2.75 CGPA.
• A Masters's degree in Research requires applicants to have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 CGPA out of 4.

Documents Required:

• Passport-sized photograph
• Referee's Details: previous supervisor or academic advisor or current employer.
• Certificates of Bachelor Degree
• Transcript of Bachelor Degree
• Research Proposal (Master by research ONLY)
• English language proficiency scores
• Identity proof

Universiti Putra Malaysia UG Admission Requirements

UPM offers a wide range of programs at the undergraduate level in the fields of agriculture, forestry, Medicine and Health Sciences, Economics and Management, Engineering, Educational Studies, Science, Biotechnology, computer science, and information technology, etc. The application procedure is almost the same.

Application fee: RM 280 (USD 65)

Academic qualifications required:

• Have received a National Higher School Certificate (or an A Level or the equivalent of 12 years of basic education) with the grade 80% and above
• Have obtained a Diploma from recognized Institutions with at least a CGPA of 3.00, and have fulfilled specific entrance requirements for some programs

Documents required:

• Previous academic qualification, or it's equivalent (copy)
• Copy of transcripts
• Copy of translated documents (if originals are not in English)
• Copy of Passport (valid for at least 2 years before expiry date)
• Copy of English language certificates and tests- IELTS/TOEFL
• Financial statement, guaranteeing sponsorship by the respective sponsor.
• Copy of any other original document certified by a justice of the peace, notary public
