The Universiti Malaya Medical Programme (UMMP) is a five-year professional undergraduate medical degree offering you clinical experience, research opportunities and elective placements. On successful completion of the programme, you will be conferred the Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery (MBBS) degree.

Our programme will provide you with current best practice in medical education, high teacher- student ratios and extensive educational support. The graduate of this MBBS Programme will be a medical practitioner who is responsive to the health needs of individuals, families and the society at large. The graduate will also be committed to improve the health care system at all levels.

Obtained qualifications with the relevant system/board examination of the respective countries equivalent to GCE “A” Levels or equivalent to CGPA 3.8 with high pass/distinction in the
following subjects:

• Biology;
• Chemistry;
• Physics/Mathematics
• Attained a high score in a recognized entrance examination that taken in current or previous year. (BMAT / UCAT / MCAT / GAMSAT)

• Must have completed high school
• Must complete the university assessment
