Documents Required
A complete application should consist of all the following documents:
- A completed signed application form.
- A certified copy of transcript/mark sheets
- Higher School Certificate (HSC)/ GCE ‘A’ Level or any other equivalent certificates
- Evidence of English proficiency (TOEFL or IELTS preferred)
- School leaving certificate/References
- A copy of an international passport with at least two years validity
English Language Proficiency Requirements
Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia requires all their international students to be proficient in English. For students whose native language is not English need to appear for an English language proficiency exam. The university accepts TOEFL and IELTS score. The minimum scores needed are:
Visa Process
Students are advised to check with the nearest Malaysian immigration or diplomatic mission for visa requirements. Students’ passports must be valid for at least 6 months upon arrival. Visas are issued promptly by the Malaysian Immigration Department. Prospective students are required to submit the application form together with:
- 4 photos (passport size)
- A photocopy of the Letter of Offer
- Two copies of passport, all pages including a blank page

- Bachelor’s degree with a good CGPA from a recognized university

- Degree in Medical or Dentistry courses from the university/ higher learning institution.
- Qualifications stated by the Senate through Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning or Recognition of Prior Learning.
