Likes:
- Student support throughout the course, be it mentally or financially. Designated counseling facilities. A lot of extracurricular activities to participate in. null
Dislikes:
- Level of depth of the classes conducted. The professor would not go into the details of the subject. Less availability for the professors to ask queries and doubts as most of them were visiting faculty. null
I chose this university as having good experience in an Insurance company back in India, I wanted to pursue my further education in the Risk Management field. Trinity was the best one to study in Ireland. Overall experience was positive, the college is very international with good infrastructure and facilities on campus. Good overall support was available to students for any problems faced during the course.

- Even the professors are highly knowledgeable and extremely helpful. null
Dislikes:
- Having said that a few of the courses however have a high teacher to student ratio which makes it a little difficult to get individual attention .
I chose this college as Trinity ranks among the top 100 universities in the world and is the top Irish university. I've had an excellent time here and I'd definitely recommend Trinity for masters.
Likes:
- I was drawn to the academic output given by the college in my preferred fields of computer science and physics. I was inclined to join the cohorts due to the long standing legacy and quality of education. I have always been passionate about computers since I could press key and play mine-craft. Wanting to pursue cs with like-minded people; the crème de la crème is what I looked forward to most. null
- I like that all of the courses have a do-it-yourself element to it. Making the projects rather than regurgitating the textbook makes more sense to me, it's a more practical way to learn for me. I learn more when I troubleshoot the problem practically with my hand. null
Dislikes:
- I don't like that there is all stakes on the just the final exams. There could be more internal and project components. I'd like the professors to be a little more clear with the contents of the syllabus and give exact details well before the final exam. null
I appreciate the rigorous academic environment, cutting-edge curriculum, and access to advanced resources. The vibrant tech community fosters collaboration, and the faculty's expertise enhances my learning. The blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills prepares me for a dynamic career in the ever-evolving tech industry.
Likes:
- I was much interested in environmental science and was looking for a good course, so I found the one at Trinity College where I love the modules included in the course as I compared to the universities providing similar courses. null
- Education system is thing I like the most as we don’t have exams in the course we are marked on the basis of practicals we do, which increases our understanding regarding the topics. null
Dislikes:
- There is nothing to dislike to be honest but the fee for the courses is high comparatively to the universities as they provide more facilities than others but we are not able to use them. null
It is great experience, here things are more practical and research based rather than theory, all I need to get knowledge about the modules otherwise it becomes difficult, professors are very supportive they help if we don’t get anything and solve our doubts, there are different societies if you are interested. So overall there are many things to learn and you can develop your skills.
Likes:
- I accepted this offer as Ireland is good for engineering and has good scholarship opportunities. My relatives were also there so was a good advantage to me to go there .
- I like how different people from different countries come and interact with each other and have common interest we have good clubs and societies to take part in and attendance is not compulsory. null
Dislikes:
- I don’t like the timings of college that should be improved by them which is equal to our school timings. The weather is also very unpredictable in Dublin. null
My overall experience at college till date is good like whether it is on campus life or off campus life, both is amazing which is entirely different and better than Indian colleges lifestyle.
Likes:
- European work environment, work permit visa, relatively easy European Citizenship requirements. null
- Trinity College Dublin possesses a conducive International environment, good research facilities, good student teacher ratio, good course structure, employability. Ireland also provides two years work visa after you complete your course. Funding and scholarship options are available for students. null
Dislikes:
- High fees for Non-EU students, less accommodation options available for the students inside campus, high inflation in Europe, lack of immediate employment in certain courses, harsh, cold weather in Ireland. null
I think coming to Trinity College for my Research work was one of the finest decisions I took. Along with the world-class exposure, international environment, infrastructure which facilitated my research, the cutting-edge, result-oriented work culture is something I learnt.
Likes:
- Good life and work balance, enjoyed work, no pressure. People are polite and give respect and also expect same. null
- Clean, Green and lovely big campus at city center. Good faculty and most important they know about work and life balance (only European faculty). Faculty help at any extend, give you space to work and believe you. null
Dislikes:
- Some branches don't have enough research facilities like materials engineering. Very slow process in administration. Also, if you want to purchase any lab equipment you have start 6 months prior, may be till that you finish your degree. null
Overall experience good about living and work but research not at level of UK or other top 100 universities.

Dislikes:
- I do not dislike Trinity at all. It has best facilities and policies for student and staff development with a quite disciplined and systematic approach. The university believes on equal opportunity to all and also works for the gender equality. Overall, there is nothing to be disliked the University. null
My journey to Trinity College Dublin was an unforgettable adventure that enriched my academic pursuits and left an indelible mark on my personal growth. Stepping onto the historic campus, I was immediately captivated by the blend of tradition and modernity that defines this institution. Living in Dublin itself was an integral part of my Trinity experience. The city's vibrant cultural scene, with its theaters, galleries, and lively pubs, ensured that there was always something exciting to explore during my downtime. The warm Irish hospitality made me feel welcomed and at home, even though I was thousands of miles away from my own.
They also say that for IP laws for you will do that is as a lawyer, the market is not that great. It's very small. And you might not grow even law firms who do IP here, they have to practice somewhere you should go to UK.
