University of Mainz Campus and Accomodation
Due to its considerable size, the JGU campus houses almost all of the research centers near city center, as well as four associated cutting-edge research institutes- Institute for Molecular Biology (IMB), Helmholtz Institute Mainz (HIM), Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research (MPI-P), and Max Planck Institute for Chemistry (MPI-C).
- In addition to the ten departments, there are two independent art schools: Academy for Music and Academy for Art.
- Within the campus area, Johann Gutenberg University offers international student housing if a student applies by the deadline.

University of Mainz Application Process
International students are required to enroll in a JGU degree program with foreign certifications, for which there is a two-step application procedure, and the process may take around six to eight weeks to complete.

- After completing all of the requirements, applicants may submit an online or offline application for their desired program
- Applications for admission restricted programs are accepted online, while all other applications are submitted offline.
