Currency Note: All INR conversions use the live rate of 1 EUR = INR 94.50 as of September 2026. The semester contribution at German public universities covers admin fees, a state-wide transport pass, and student union services, not tuition.

Scholarship

I have a doctoral contract with Kiel University for 3 years, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) Translational Evolutionary Research 2501. The salary is based on the contracts for the German public service policy (65% TVL-E13).

I chose this university as the topics that I have been working on was the suitable one that I had been looking into. I am highly satisfied with the offer from Kiel University, its a place where you can learn almost everything that is on your list.
