The West Coast University of Applied Science was established in the year 1993 for vocational, higher education, and applied research. In the year 2000, the University got its newly constructed building near Heide. The University has around 1,200 students enrollment. West Coast University of Applied Science Programs and Residence
- International students are offered a wide range of UG and PG programs. The fields of study offered are Business Administration, International Tourism Management, Business Psychology, Law, Management and technology, etc.
- International students are offered accommodation with the Studentenwerk Schleswig-Holstein. Dormitories have shared as well private, furnished and unfurnished apartments that are available. Private accommodations are also suggested by the university.

West Coast University of Applied Sciences Cost of Attendance
Expenses such as accommodation charge, books expenses, etc. apart from the University’s tuition fee make up the cost of attendance for international students.
Tuition Fee: Tuition fee is waived off of students. A semester fee of 75 Euro is charged per semester, for international students.
Cost of Accommodation: Student dormitory cost around 220 Euro/month.
Cost of Living: For international students, the cost of living is around 800-1000 Euros/month.
Financial Aids: International students are offered various financial aids from the university. Some of the funding options are Student loans, BAföG, Stipendienloste, Stipendium plus, DAAD scholarships, etc.
