The library offers various services to the students like study rooms, subject guides, publications, journals, assistance with research and citations, access to databases and one-on-one access to information. 


Loyalist College library contains 4,298 e-books, 670 research guides, 350 databases.

The Library serves as Loyalist College's entryway to the informational world. The Internet, specialist online encyclopedias, journal databases, and traditional print and media materials are all available to faculty and students at no cost.

You can access reference and circulating materials, periodicals, newspapers, official documents, statistics, and annual reports in its regular print collection. Its audio-visual Library has a wide selection of videotapes to support your educational needs.


Campus Life

Sault College is highly rated  in Student Satisfaction year after year from its recent graduates. From the new Waterfront and Adventure Centre,  to the recharged Motive Power Centre and innovative iE3 project, real change is promoted here. iE3 is short for the Institute for the Environment, Education and Entrepreneurship – a cutting-edge facility used to enhance our outdoor studies and communication technology programs – and one of the amazing new buildings.The Sault College Fitness Centre offers a fully functional fitness space featuring state of the art equipment, that has all of your recreation and wellness needs covered. The all new Waterfront Adventure Centre is home to a student and community inclusive space that takes advantage of outdoor recreational activities.  


On Wallbridge-Loyalist Road is where the college's current 200-acre campus is situated. Another campus of Loyalist College is located in Bancroft, Ontario. There are modern labs, classrooms, and workshops on the campus.

The hours of operation for computer laboratories are extended for all program participants. Loyalist College Student Access Labs offer PC and Mac computer services.

  • The place to unwind is the Student Center. Six televisions are available for students to watch sports or popular movies on the big screen.
  • The Spa is a cutting-edge teaching facility run by the Esthetics & Spa Management Ontario College diploma program at Loyalist College. It works with its local partners in the spa management and aesthetics industries.

  • Intense and thrilling varsity competitions take place in the "Lancer Dome," as it is commonly known, home to the school's Men's & Women's Varsity Basketball and Volleyball programs.
  • The gym has two volleyball courts, four badminton courts, and six regulation basketball hoops.
  • The Bay of Quinte Skills Center is southeastern Ontario's go-to technology and trades training facility. This society needs qualified people, especially in fields like architecture and building sciences, automotive, electrical, and welding, that are just starting to gain popularity.
  • Students receive training at The Bay of Quinte Skills Centre using the most recent tools to prepare for careers in these industries in high demand.
  • Modern teaching labs for chemistry, instrumentation, molecular biology and field biology are available at Loyalist's fully stocked Sustainable Skills, Technology, and Life Sciences Centre.
  • To provide adequate assistance for Indigenous students on campus and to serve as a point of contact between the College administration, Indigenous communities, and governmental organizations, the Indigenous Resource Centre was established at Loyalist College. The Indigenous Resource Center has a holistic approach to its mission.
  • The Indigenous Resource Center is happy to host social and cultural activities on campus with the help of the Indigenous Student Council. In the Indigenous Resource Center, students can request smudging.
