Location Facts

The main campus of the college is located in Calgary. The branch campuses are: Airdrie, Banff, Cochrane, Okotoks, and Strathmore


SAIT's main campus is located on 16 Avenue NW, overlooking the downtown core of Calgary. SAIT has three other campuses located in Calgary: Mayland Heights – Located on Centre Avenue, this facility supports students pursuing a career in auto body, crane and hoisting, recreation vehicle servicing, electrical, plumbing and rail.
Culinary Campus – Located on Stephen Avenue, it provides baking basics and cooking fundamentals. The Culinary Campus also acts as a marketplace, selling food to the general public.
Art Smith Aero Centre – Occupying 69,000 square metres (17 acres) of land at the Calgary International Airport, this campus supports the School of Transportation.

The library of the university provides access to various textbooks, databases, journals etc. Bow Valley College library contains 2,500 e-books, 20 research guides, 49 databases. 


The Reg Erhardt Library facilitates excellence in teaching, research, and learning through the provision of authoritative information resources and community-driven programs. By providing equitable access to print and digital collections, innovative technology, and learner-focused spaces, the Library creates an inclusive environment that supports creative inquiry at SAIT. There are 11 study rooms, 170 workstations and 3 prinitng devices in the library.


Campus Life

The campus life of the university is quite vibrant. The intraculture centre helps the students in bridging the interculture gap and developing particular skills. The group also provides volunteering opportunities. The campus provides various facilities to the students like on campus housing, diningetc. 


Students can get involved in various activities while living on campus. There are around 20 clubs and student organizations for the students to participate in. Students can also get involved in various athletic and recreational activities to stay fit. The campus also provides various engagement services and workshops for the students.
